Great Cuts

My husband and I went without appointments and luckily got our haircuts right away. My husband was very pleased as he had a bad haircut elsewhere over a month ago and it needed alot of «fixing». Kim fixed it like «brand new».

I got my hair cut short here. Intended to have a blob haircut. Service was good but haircut was bad. After I got home, I notice that the end is such a mess, it looked like someone just grab a scissor and chop it off. Not only that, it’s not ‘even both ends.

We chose this place last minute because my daughter decided that she wanted her hair cut and I didn’t want to have to set up an appointment and pay an arm and a leg. I found this place on Unilocal and gave them a call to make sure they accept walk in clients. They said yes and they are open an hour later than all of the other places so we headed over.
At first, everything seemed to be going quite well. The stylist assured my daughter that she could give her the cut that she wanted and began the process. I didn’t really examine my daughter’s hair when it was finished because by then I had decided to have my own hair done. I asked if they shaved faces and they said yes so I jumped into the chair. Normally I shave my own head and face but I thought what the heck, if they do a good job, maybe I’ll just go back every 2 weeks.
She did a good job shaving my head and she was careful to make sure my goatee was shaped right. She took more time on my face than she did on my head and I could tell she was doing her best to get all of my hair shaved down nicely. She finished up, I paid and we hit the road. It wasn’t until about 30 minutes after we left that the pain started. It seems that during her struggle to shave my beard close and clean, she gave me some of the worst razor burn I’ve ever experienced. I had razor burn on the front of my neck and the back of my neck and on my chin. She missed a bunch of hairs on my cheeks and got a lot of hair on me and my shirt.
Later I took a better look at my daughter’s hair and it was done pretty poorly too. I actually got out my clippers and fixed her hair. After all was said and done, I should have just done both of our hair myself. It would’ve saved us a lot of time and money if I had.
Live and learn.

Everything you’ve been reading ALL the testimonials about this place is absolutely true. I to walked in and within 10 minutes I got serviced. Wow what a excellent haircut and the price is definitely the BEST in Federal Way but definitely not just the cost of the haircut but how friendly and professional excellent service they give you means the most. The parking outside is definitely easy and the establishment is clean

Walked in and got the best cut from Tracy! Wow! Traveling through town from Alaska to Texas and read Unilocal reviews and took a chance! I was desperate for a great cut and style and Tracy took about 15 years off of me and at least 8 inches! Very happy! Oh, and the price was $ 18!!! Love this easy sassy cut!

Best place to get a hair cut, they get to know you by name and the service is not one to complain about ever. I started coming here two years ago and worked with Jenny then she had a baby and u was happy for her but mad that it takes me a while to find someone I trust. My dad who also comes here referred me to Kim who is just as awesome. I never have to explain what I want and never had a bad haircut. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is just awesome! These girls rock !

I got a great hair cut. Like, I haven’t had one this good in years. I’m a girl with very thick straight hair.
Okay, to the review.
First, the person: I’ll be honest, I didn’t get the name of the woman that cut my hair. I was a walk-​in and didn’t wait more than 5 minutes before I was in the chair. I told her what I wanted, she got to work and did exactly what I was hoping for. She was very polite and tried to make small talk (I suck at that, not her). While she was cutting my hair she’d tilt my head this way or that. I didn’t mind it but I imagine there are some people that do. From when I entered to exited, I’d say I was in there for maybe 40 minutes.
Second, the place: It was nice. I’m not looking for super fancy anything. It was nice in my opinion, clean, and there was a faint smell of incense but I don’t mind it (however, someone with allergies might).
Third, the cost: Very reasonable. $ 18 for a hair cut that made me very happy.
The real part: I will definitely be going back.

Tracy did an excellent job. Just happened to really need a haircut and walk in. She took time to do a thorough job and listen to my request. Highly recommend for a great guys haircut.

I didn’t get the name of the girl who cut my hair, but she did an awesome job. I came in with a picture she looked at it once and it seemed like in no time it was cut like the picture. And $ 23 for shampoo, cut and style isn’t that bad of a price.

Been here once and had my hair cut by Kim. Good, even haircut. Simple, no frills. Can’t beat it for the price, which is $ 10 on Mondays. I will definitely go back.

So happy I went there! Kim had already given my husband a great «rescue» cut, and she gave me my first professional haircut in years. I am very reluctant to go to salons, but she put me right at ease, asked all the right questions, gave me a great evaluation of what I needed, and then gave me a great cut! Prices are very fair too. I will go back!

The excellent Unilocal reviews convinced me to try this place, and I’m glad I did. Kim gave me a great haircut for a very reasonable price. She clearly knows what she’s doing, and she works fast. Despite my thick, bushy hair, she got me out of the chair in half an hour.

Kim did an amazing job on my hair, and she’s so nice! I barely had to describe what I wanted and she nailed it. The other woman cut my boyfriend’s hair and did an awesome job as well! We both looked at each other and said, «We found a new haircut place.» I definitely recommend them — I paid $ 18 for a cut and style and it was perfect.

My haircut was perfect and the lady was super nice. It was $ 18 for an inline bob and i get complimented on it by everybody. Definitely going back!

This place apparently hasn’t been around very long, but I thought I’d give it a try. The women who work here are very talented and I couldn’t believe how low their prices are. Their work is as good or better than other places where I paid $ 50 for a haircut.

I’m super happy I found this place! I have lived in 5 states as an adult and I can say I’ve never been happier with my haircuts… and its very affordable, I would say for everyone! I have paid Much more and received much less. If you have the time I would recommend a wash, they make it very relaxing.

I’ve been going here for about a year and Kim is awesome. She always remembers what length I prefer and is spot on. I’m pretty busy, so I usually get the hair wash too so I can go right where I need to after.
You should definitely give it a shot.
