Pretty disappointed with LensCrafters. I bought glasses in July 2015 and have gotten three new pairs of lenses because they scratch so easily. Luckily I bought the insurance protection plan so it has only been about $ 27 each time I have done it, but it is still disappointing. I have purchased my glasses from LensCrafters since I started wearing glasses 8 years ago and I don’t think I will be back. I have never had a problem like I’ve experienced over the last 6 months with their lenses. I typically spend $ 300-$ 400 each year or two. I asked yesterday(3rd pair of lenses) if I could pay extra to upgrade my lenses because I have spent so much time turning my glasses in and waiting for my lenses to get shipped in to have them replaced and the lady said no they don’t do that. I even have the anti scratch on these lenses. For the amount of money I have spent at this business not to mention this particular store, I would have hoped for better customer service. The staff is great in this store and very friendly, just not so helpful in my case I guess.

Came here to get my son an eye exam — was told on phone they accepted my insurance but when I showed up — they said the dr was new and didn’t accept it — so I had to pay $ 89 out of pocket… fine…then they try running my credit card and they can’t get it to work — the lady smugly hands it back to me and informs me that I need to call the company, I inform I won’t do that as the problem is with her machine — she counters with that its a brand new machine — she tries one more time and it works — had a great time telling her«I told you so» — so now we go into the appt. The doctor, Dr Pham, was really nice. He explained everything very nice and very well. He was very considerate with my son who has high functioning autism. He is probably the only reason we didn’t 1 star this location.

The worst experience with an appointment yet. The staff was very unfriendly and tried to charge extra for everything. Things that were optional we were told we had to pay for. Will not return here.

I really enjoyed my time here and they have a great computerized lens centering system(by photo) that makes my glasses feel very comfortable on my eyes(albeit I am really sensitive). They have a great eye doctor on the weekend, Dr. Walia. She is thorough, pays attention to the correct details, and is very understanding of personal needs. Derrick, is an optician on duty and he is superb. He also gets the same praise as Dr Walia. The other staff members work well together and made me feel taken care of. I would pay extra for glasses with service like this, but I’ll take the normal and sale price. I don’t see the reason to demand bottom dollar when a fair price for services provided is honest. So I rate 5 full stars, because not price nor selection is all that matter.

The staff was super friendly. I only took one star off because they don’t have the largest selection to choose from & it’s all designer, so it’s not cheap. I thought they did a good eye exam though & I got my new glasses right then & there, which was great!

My eye glass a lens popped out. I was helpless and walletless and the staff took my glasses and cleaned it. The staff secured the tiny screw in my eye glass allowing me to resume my day. Though I was penniless they were nice enough to help me Thank you Fed Way Lenscrafters!!!

Very disappointed from the second I walked in. Went in for an eye exam. Booked online very easy, but they called me 10 times in 2hrs and did not leave a message. Then when I got there, they said I had to pay 40 dollars for contact fitting(when I have never paid anywhere else before). I asked them if i needed to call to verify my own benefits and they said they will try and call during my appt. After exam, they never verified my insurance, and insisted I pay. I had to call and verify my insurance. I ordered two boxes of contacts and when i went back to pick them up, I asked if i could order more. And since they I called to check my own insurance and the cashier wrote everything down I figured they would STILL have that info. So when i asked if i could order more contacts the lady looked at me weird. I told her i wanted to purchase the remainder of my balance left on my insurance, and she said I would have to call and find out that info. Would NEVER recommend the federal way location. I WOULDMUCHRATHERGOTOWALMART!!! Not for price for intelegence.

Very disappointed about this place. Went in with my best friend so she can get another pair(probably her 5th from them) and the entire time we felt rushed out by the sales person. We wanted to try on frames in order to see what best matches her face shape, etc. and multiple times the associate made remarks about us leaving or trying on too many, etc. We didn’t make a mess, tried on one at a time and promptly returned it to the slot in the wall where it was taken from. Also, their selection is quite slim. Never going back to this location again. I’d recommend the Southcenter location as they have a larger selection and friendlier staff.

Made an appointment last week to get my eye exam/glass prescription. I checked out their website and book an online appointment, which was super easy to and highly recommended. Showed up and was promptly greeted, filled out the proper paperworks and saw Melissa Cho, the optometrist. She was very friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I loved the whole experience at this particular location and would return in the near future.

Love the people who work here. They know what they are doing and are super patient with you while you are picking out the glasses you want. the best thing here is the glasses that are ready in a hour. PS. you definitely wanna buy the insurance plan if they offer it to you. Depending on the lens and frames you buy, it can be VERY expensive if they end up being scratched or something. Lemme give you an example. I have the anti glare lens. if i some how scratched them to where they actually interfere with my vision. it would be a whopping $ 325 to fix them. and thats the lens alone. if my frames snapped in half that would be another $ 210 to fix them. but with the insurance plan, its 29.99 at first. and a $ 25 co-pay each for Lens, frames, and something else that i cant quite remember. but its definitely a much better deal to be paying $ 55(one time pay insurance plan+copay) to fix your lens over $ 325.

i spent about an hour here yesterday after work trying on frames. the woman who helped me was very sweet and helpful, not to mention PATIENT! i must’ve tried on at least two dozen pairs before settling on the last ones i tried on. the cool thing about lenscrafters is that right now they’re having a sale where you buy the frames and the lenses are 50% off. since i have such horrible vision, my lenses have to be made somewhere off their site so although most people would have theirs made that very same day, mine will take a week and a half to get done. i don’t care. they have a huge selection of frames and the best part was, when we were doing the check out process, the onsite optometrist who was off that day, came into the place with her little chihuahua/dachshund mix puppy who was SO sweet and hyper! all in all it was a pretty awesome experience for something as boring as getting glasses made. thumbs up.
