This is one of my favorite phở places in Federal Way. Service is always nice and very friendly. I typically only get phở from here but I have tried a few other things like the spring rolls, fried rolls, or fried chicken and pork chops. Everything is usually really good. Comes out really fast. They are also more than happy to package anything for you to go. The phở is always hot and really flavorful. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the area.

I’ve been coming here for 5+ years now. Not coming back after my order tonight. I got my usual lemon grass chicken, number 28 on the menu, and the portions really have gotten bad. They are giving more noodles, lettuce, etc… but skimping out on the chicken. Also seems like they changed the recipe or something, because it’s not as good as it was before. I also ordered the fried calamari appetizer… it was over 8 bucks and all I got was a whopping 7 rings in a tiny little container. I could have picked up a box of calamari at the store for cheaper and gotten probably 3 – 4 times what I was actually served. This place must be under new ownership, because the prices and portions are out of control. Used to be my favorite lemon grass chicken here, but not anymore. Time to find a new place.

We love coming here — very good food. Never a disappointment! Phở, fried rice, teriyaki, everything is delicious.

Food was pretty good. It wasn’t the best I ever had but I still enjoyed it very much. Get the friend Vietnamese spring rolls. They are Really good.

Out of all the places in Federal Way, this is the best phở. But I am giving it three stars because before they used to be very friendly and provided some sort of customer service. But now there is not a ounce of customer service. We sit where we want to sit. And wave at them when we are ready to order and we never speak again unless we need to pay or ask for something else. Also, their prices are very good for their quality but their quantity has decreased. Still I find them better than phở tai mainly because it is the quality that matters. One thing I have to say is their bubble tea isn’t the best so don’t get that. But their number 7BOMB. Halo halo great. Thai ice tea also wonderful. Just make sure when you order the drinks to tell them little ice or no ice.

Been coming here consistently for a few years now and thoroughly enjoy the menu selections. As a few of the entrees can be hit or miss… we generally stick with Phở. But then there are days that vermicelli noodle salad really hits the spot. Really like that the dressing isn’t overwhelmingly fishy as many other Phở places. The chicken, lettuce, mint leaves and other condiments mingle together nicely for a tasty, satisfying meal. The fresh rolls are great here, as is the dipping sauce that accompanies. Consistently good, friendly staff and love that the dining room noise level is usually at a minimum. Definitely recommend this tucked away restaurant just off Pac Hwy. Good place to catch a game while dining… they’ve got that covered too.

Service is poor! Waited over 10 mins for them to take our order. And I had to flag them down for them to. It took more than 30 mins to get our food and it’s a phở place it shouldn’t take that long. The server went around and filled up other people’s water and ours were empty. Never did they once refill our water! If you are going to eat here I suggest Togo it is a lot faster then dining in

I rarely get phở here. It’s good though, but I just really like their pork chops! It is VERY flavorful, kinda salty but it’s super tasty and tender. I love the pickled veggies that come with the dish. and it is topped off beauty with a fried egg. Their shrimp eggroll appetizer is TODIEFOR. omg i want some now! I tried a che tai for the first time here. it’s like a Vietnamese shaved ice dessert/drink?(not sure what category lol) The interior is spacious, with lots of tables, but it gives off a very run down feeling. If I wasn’t a long time Federal Way citizen and I came in here for the first time, I can kind of see myself getting turned off and appetite ruined because it seems dirty. It’s not, but it just kinda seems dirty because it’s so old. But, the food once again wins for me and the service is always top notch.

Wanted to try this place, went in and waited over 10 mins for no service. One lady helping over 10 tables on a Saturday at lunch. Very disappointed, we ended up walking out.

I think this is the best Phở in Federal Way. You get a lot of soup for your money. I always get brisket phở. The service is good in the sense that you get your order taken quickly, and your food is out in no time flat, but after that if you need anything you have to flag someone down, I don’t really mind that though. Don’t wait for a check to come, just pay at the counter when your good and full. They keep your ticket up there. I’ve seen the same faces here for years and find the folks that run the joint friendly. The Vietnamese coffee is spot on and the spring rolls are pretty good. Come for the Phở…

Never had a problem with this place. The phở is always good and the manager is great. He is always friendly and comes out to say hi to my kid. We order the phở tai nam and its really good. We come here often and will continue to come.

The service was very slow! My chicken curry tasted like crap. The iced coffee was way too strong. However, their egg roll earned 1 star, only thing that was good. Won’t be coming back.

Just had the Phở tai nam gau, to-go. The broth tasted like it was just water and salt. It was pretty disappointing. I wonder if it might taste better eaten there, but I did notice a couple people mention it’s gone downhill the last few months. I do enjoy some of their other dishes, but Phở is one of those basic dishes that I crave more often than not, and this was a serious pretty down. In regard to Phở: unto the next.

Umm, I don’t really know what happened but when I was visiting during the winter months the quality of the phở has really gone down. The first time back, I was so excited to be back to my favorite phở place but the soup wasn’t very hot. I also brought a friend for his first time and I gotta say… It was a little embarrassing. The second and third tries ended up with the same results even at different times. I am so sad but I love this place sooo much. I’m conflicted :( Everything else is really all the same: attentiveness of the serves, Tv switched to a sports channel, quality of drinks, very clean, and the BEST part of all is that they give you practically EVERYTHING on your table! But. I’ll be back for a couple weeks in the summer and hopefully they get the phở back to what it’s suppose to taste like and at the temperature it’s suppose to be.

I’m still in search of GREAT Phở near my home. I’ve had better than this place. The broth is not as savory and flavorful as other Phở places I’ve been to previously. When it is not overly crowded, the restaurant is clean. The service is always friendly and polite. Will keep returning until I find Phở that I really love.

I finally made it in to try this place out. Vietnamese sandwich was pretty good. I usually go to Seattle Jackson st., Much cheaper($ 2.75 vs.$ 4.25) for pork. The spring wrap was really good also. However, they are more costly than international district.

Was in the area so stopped by with my kids for boba. Tried the strawberry, mango, and pineapple. They were all a little too sweet. The pineapple was probably the best. Strawberry was ok. The mango did not taste good. Did not try any of the food. Maybe next time…

My favorite place to go for Vietnamese food. The service isn’t bad, I mean it depends who serves you, but there’s only like 3 people that work there, it’s family owned. The main gal that’s always there is so sweet, she remembers me and my boyfriend and even my family, and she always knows what we want to order before we even have to say anything. The prices are so good too, it’s just a comfortable place to eat, and this will always be my #1 spot for Vietnamese food, until I find better :)

I have tried just about everything on the menu and my favorites are Banh Xeo(Vietnamese crêpe) and Bo Kho(Spicy beef stew). The food is consistent and they are fast most of the time. We like to bring our friends and family when they come to visit. Linh Son is our go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Federal Way.
