MetroPCS – Federal Way

Bought a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime at this location. Saleswoman put accessories on my order without even asking. Thought I was paying for an upgrade but instead paid for $ 70 of items I didn’t need or ask for. The phone also has a feature called RFP that locks the phone if someone unassociated with the Google ID steals the phone. This phone locked down on us after four days most likely because it was a used phone being sold as new. It had the previous owners’ information and then locked the phone on us. Even though we were within the seven day period for returns and exchanges this location refused to help us and also blamed us saying that it was a virus or was a result of charging it via plugging it into the wall. (!) This was the same saleswoman. They are clearly focused on their commission and not customer service. Another location ended up helping us out. Stay away from this MetroPCS store!

The owner of the franchise at this Metro PCS sold us 2 USED iPhones under the pretense they were NEW. We went to apple, and found that they had previously been owned by someone with a Korean name, and the apple warranty had expired the year before.
On top of that, the phones he sold us were not useable. After the first month of service, we could not call, text, or use internet service on either phone. We did go back and try to get help, and the manager said that we lied about buying the phones there, and that we obviously had switched phones.
When we looked at the serial number on the phones, it was different than the ones on the boxes they came in, and different than the ones on the receipt — yet these were the exact «new» iPhones the owner sold us. They had done the sale in such a way that they could deny the phones were purchased from them.
The manager would not help us, would not replace the phones, and would not even reimburse us for the phones we purchased from him and the owner!
We tried to call them as well to get help for the problem, and the manager hung up on us.
We had to purchase new phones from another location.
The owner and the manager seem fraudulent.
Please don’t ever go to this store.

Terrible. They know nothing about anything they offer, any time I go to a different metro store I learn something I should have been told here. For example, we bought four phones with progressive finance and we were told by the franchise owner and store manager that our payment would be less than $ 100 per month, not! They were billing me $ 100 every other week. Something the owner and manager should have told us. I just learned today (about a year after getting my plan) that my data is capped, when that question was asked several times when we bought our phones, is the unlimited everything really unlimited or will or data slow down after a certain amount. And we were reassured several times we didn’t have to worry. Same with insurance, we have insurance on the phones and were told that there was no deductible that anything went wrong and we could get a new phone. Not true, $ 150 deductible. We went in to order new phones under manufacturer warranty, which we were told was no problem they could do it and they would call in about a week when they got the phone, we never received a call. When we called they had acted like they knew nothing of a new phone and we were crazy, even went as far as calling my mom a lier. They have terrible customer service. They all need to be trained, I’m a manager and would not let my employees act like that at all, the manager is a joke and literally I can’t think of any reason he’s actually there considering he’s of no help to anyone. I can say Jarred and one of the girls there (I wish I could remember her name, she’s Hispanic has long hair, she’s shorter and braces or a retainer) are the only 2 that should be getting paid because they’re the only two that can do their job. Aside from this shitty location I love metro pcs and the service!

I shopped around and spoke with a lot of providers. David and his staff were by far the friendliest and most forthcoming with answers to my questions. I got exactly what I was looking for only 1 mile from my house.
It is obvious that this store is run by people who care about their customers.
I am recommending this store to all my friends and family.
