Stonesifer Larry D MD

Those other reviews are not of the actual Dr. Larry Stonesifer but others in his office. My experience with him directly was awful. He was beyond rude, disrespectful, extremely late, charged a fortune and then decided the only thing that would help me would be an intensely expensive admission to his pet project. Wow, what a coincidence. I think not. Looking elsewhere. The nurses were nice, at least.

Okay… Let me start by saying I «was» supposedly seeing one of the BEST Endocrinologists in the state for my hypothyroid. I drove to Tacoma for literally a 10 minute appointment, in and out, wham bam thank you ma’am! I felt like I was getting robbed! So I started my search for a new doctor.
I came across Dr. Stonesifer’s office and decided to give it a whirl. He was booked up for months so I saw Marjorie Sladek instead for my first appointment. She sat down with me and I told her my concerns with my other doctor and how I felt like he didn’t care about me or my condition. This woman talked with me for 40 MINUTES!!! She answered every single question I could come up with! After talking with her she wanted to test me for an array of things. I told her I wanted to be tested for everything under the sun, and that’s what I did! I got my results back and learned so many things that my previous doctor never tested for.
I am so grateful I found this place! I now have answers to the way I have been feeling for YEARS! She is the best! If I get to see Dr. Stonesifer at some point I can’t wait to tell him how happy I am with Marjorie and her attention to her patients! Highly recommend!!!

I highly recommend this practice. I see Marcia Miller out of this office because I am on an insulin pump. She is awesome! I cannot tell you how glad and thankful I am to have found this office and these people. Everyone is super nice — office staff, nurses and doctors. Marcia Miller is great — great listener, great to have on your team, works hard to find solutions to any difficulties you may have in your diabetes management, understanding, great at issuing all necessary tests and interpreting the results for you. I cannot say enough good things about this practice.
