Things Remembered

OK so I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a few months now. I went in to buy a couple of keychains and have them engraved as an anniversary present. The young lady that assisted me, Pamela, was so patient with me when I had the hardest time deciding on which keychain and exactly what to engrave and which font to use. She was so accommodating and helpful! It was the best experience that I’ve ever had at things remembered and truth be told in retail in the last a couple of years ! Pamela was sweet and enthusiastic despite my being difficult (which that day I admittedly was) and she followed up with me. She was fabulous — and as a result of her excellent customer service I looked at several other things she showed me and gave me ideas for future gifts and I’ll definitely be back soon ! Thank you !

First off, I loved the convenience of being able to place my order from home online using paypal and then have it ready when I came to pick it up later. I was ordering new business gifts, and was a first time customer of things remembered. Reviews of the pens on line said that engraving was usually barely legible, which made me a little nervous. When I saw the engraving on the pen, it was perfect! It was easy to see and read and online pics do not compare with seeing these products in person. When she showed me the leather zipper padfolio, I noticed a very tiny scratch on the metal plate. I am not one that likes to complain about service, but I did not even have to! Literally as I was just barely noticing this scratch (again very minor, as if something on the cloth it was wiped off with had made a little mark) the manager of this store, Wendy noticed it and let me know that she was not happy with how it had turned out and she asked if I had 10 minutes to spare so that way she could re do it to her satisfaction. I of course agreed, and she was quick to swap it out to perfection in record speed. They happened to be very busy with some re-​stocking going on as well as other customers, so it meant a lot to me that Wendy was very particular in delivering the perfect product. It seems most people these days would have just tried to ignore it and if the customer did not say anything, they would not inconvenience themselves. I will definitely be making this my go to store for gifts despite the miles in between, simply because Wendy and her team make sure that all orders are 100% before leaving their store.

I went to Things Remembered to purchase a silver frame and have that frame and one purchased elsewhere engraved. I was in the store an hour just trying to figure out what to engrave on the frames (epic fail!). I should’ve had that worked out before arriving at the store. Luckily the guy who helped me was super patient and incredibly nice. The engraving was done that same day. This is the place to go for your engraving needs? Too bad they are no longer in all the Malls.
