I just had a piano moved and I was EXTREMELYIMPRESSED with how well it was done! They were prompt and fast, well educated in how best to move the piano, kept an amazingly positive attitude the whole time and worked like a well-oiled machine as a team. I will ABSOLUTELY recommend to others and turn to them the next time I need a piano moved! JOBWELLDONE!

Bob Haynes and his moving crew(including his son) did an exceptional job of moving a very fragile/unwieldy player piano and other furniture items from Florida to my house near Washington D.C. I was super impressed with the job they did, how very personable and professional they were, and of course, the extremely reasonable cost. They took great care of the piano. Could not be happier! I highly recommend this company.

I am very surprised to see some of the negative comments since my experience was extraordinary. The price was 1⁄3 of what the other piano movers were charging. The communication was excellent — ease of appointment(they were available the day after I called), friendly and professional. The movers called me within the timeframe quoted to let me know they were on their way which I appreciated. Two gentlemen arrived to haul away our piano and both were polite and respectful. The entire process took maybe 10 minutes at most and I was absolutely delighted. In general, I wish I could have given them more stars! Based on my experience only, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.

I am baffled by the negative reviews for this company. Their price was very reasonable and they scheduled with little notice for an early morning appointment. Pickup and delivery were right on time and our piano was moved with great care. I was amazed how quickly they were able to move the piano into my house. I recommend this company 100%.

I wrote an extremely positive review based on my personal experience of how great this company is so I won’t repeat myself –I urge you to scroll through the negative ones(which seem to stay firmly there, even though they are mostly not new) to see the«not currently recommended»(i.e. positive) reviews to read it. Update: I’m not seeing my positive review, so I’m repeating it here: «It doesn’t get any better than this! Bob and Kerry are scheduled to take a check with them to pick up my husband’s new(to him) C. Bechstein piano in New York. I sent it Fedex, to arrive today(Monday) but, because of snow, Fedex won’t deliver it because of a snowstorm. Bob personally volunteered to drive to meet the driver so he could get the check today! What amazing customer service! I know other businesses in this market who wouldn’t lift a finger to help out in a case like this! In addition to his „above-and-beyond“ attitude, Bob also is extremely responsive, service-oriented, and just plain nice. He worked with me and Fedex to find a way to get the check, and I totally trust him to do an excellent job with the piano.» But I do have to ask WHY is my review — the most recent one which would usually be on the top of the list — which WAS showing up yesterday be moved to the«not currently recommended» list in less than 24 hrs after I posted it? I have written other Unilocal reviews and this has never happened — even with 5-star reviews. This smacks of manipulation. Are the other people paying Unilocal or what? Why is there this negative tilt towards this company when MOST of the reviews(ALL of the«not currently recommended» ones) are extremely positive? Update: Luckily, the negative ones which used to be so prominent(and so false IMHO) have also fallen off the bottom of the list. So now you can see how so many of us have had great service from this exceptional small company. You can trust your piano to Bob.

UPDATE– I sincerely appreciate that the company called me today to express concern about my negative experience and see what they could do to make things right. Today was the first day since I hired the company that I thought they cared about doing what’s right and good customer service. I am optimistic and appreciative that they are making efforts to start doing the right thing. One thing that I must add to be fair to my previous review(which can be viewed on the full site or the Unilocal app) is that my grand piano travelled over 1500 miles and eventually arrived in Houston in the exact same condition that it was picked up.
