All Lakes Marine Service

I have add All Lakes Marine winterize and care for my boat the last several years. Their service is efficient and reliable. Often they do extras that go above and beyond, for no extra charge. For instance, replacing broken snaps in my canvas cover or adding a vent to the top. They seem honest and reliable to me.

For two (2) years, I had my boat winterized at this business and thought I was getting a professional, quality service.
This year, I found a business that is much closer to my residence and I took my boat there to have the winterizing performed (oil change, gear lube change, replace spark plugs, anti-​freeze, etc.).
After the mechanic completed the winterization, he told me that whoever did it previously (All Lakes), installed the wrong spark plugs and gear lube.
Due to minimal use of the boat, he figures that no real damage was done but if I had run the boat for more hours, the clutch could have been compromised.
The spark plugs and gear lube that were installed were substantially less costly than those prescribed for my boat.
I can only think that I was basically «hoodwinked» by All Lakes because their mechanic is certified to perform work on my powertrain.
He should have known better.
