Holland Cafe

The burger was excellent, the pulled pork was decent if you like it covered in bbq sauce, the turkey was dry and as thin as deli meat and the brisket was gray & tough.
So if you like a good burger, go for it. If you like bbq, I’d suggest elsewhere.

Location by K-​Mart has poor customer service and cheap diner food. Not worth the price.

I have been here before and had decent service today not so much! I ran in at 3:53 they close at 4 so the guy seemed pissed! Sorry then you should close at 3:30! I got 2 stuffed chicken breasts that were 8+ each they ended up being like 2 chewy rubbery pieces of meat. I also bought 2 chickens and I asked him about a pork roast how long he thought it would take to cook? He looked at me like come on lady get out of here and said I don’t know it depends. I said well that’s not really an answer and then he started to tell me well it depends what temp and I said just forget it! Really it depends on what temperature? Wow why didn’t I think of that duh!!! im sorry that I bothered him and won’t make the mistake again ! I was back in my car at 3:58 $ 30 later sorry to bother you and spend my money in your store won’t happen again !

I still go to Hollands Meat Market. I just run in and get what I need. Their prices and quality is better than most grocery stores in the area. Not fun like it used to be. I have no interest in re-​visiting the new restaurant. Just didn’t like it. Eating at the Market was fun.

These guys appear to have a wide variety of meats available. They are well-​staffed. I came in looking for lunch and quickly noticed the lack of tables. Turns out they opened a new storefront restaurant. It was described as being two lights away but the reality is those lights are miles apart.

Never ate here, but the meats are good. Pork steaks, bacon, filets, and lunch meats are good quality and turned out good for me.

Was introduced to this place by my old boss who lived in the area. Love the boudin balls! Great friendly attentive staff.
Now our go to place for meats.

Great burgers. Everything is fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that I got home and found out that my coleslaw was not in the bag. Its nice to have a good burger place nearby.

Its not that hard to say that I am a fan of this place. The customer service here is great, but some of the recipes could be improved.
I arrived at this deli and café to meet someone from HEROs care. The restaurant portion of this place was very small, but very quaint and cute. The BBQ smells coming from the back of the place was so good and delicious that I asked for a menu.
I ultimately decided on the pulled pork sandwich, with mac and cheese and baked beans. The pulled pork was amazing. The bun could have been buttered and toasted as the pulled pork could have sogged up the bun. It was topped with just a hamburger bun from a generic chain bread company. A tad disappointing. Also, I was not a fan of the mac and cheese recipe. It tasted worse than the mac and cheese from a generic buffet. Very disappointed in that side.
The price was decent in the place. I think I walked out of the joint paying around $ 5. However, because of the mac & cheese I honestly wouldn’t have paid the top price for this meal: $ 7 – 10.
I may come back but I will choose different sides the next time.

I am a big fan if BBQ and smoked food and this place does not disappoint. Always a short wait and the food is terrific. I have dined in and carried out and highly satisfied with both. The food is very inexpensive as well for how much they give you.

Hollands is a great meat market. Good pricing and beautiful generous cuts of meat. Homemade brats & homemade breakfast sausage are awesome. Family owned and some of the nicest people you will meet. Grab some lunch or dinner while you are there, delious!

This place rocks! Great meat if your looking for a butcher, great prices for food there or to go, its the whole package. I heavily suggest trying the pineapple brats for a bbq!

Great Food. Great Service. Good Price. While they may not have the best BBQ in the St. Louis region, they definitely have the best price for very good food. Plus, their staff is always incredibly friendly.

I’m pretty sure this is the only place in town where you can get fresh boudin sausage.
If that isn’t enough to bring you here, they’re a solid all-​round butcher with weekly specials.
Oh and they’re a restaurant too.

They have boudin balls. On a regular basis. They mainly just have pork boudin but they sometimes have seafood boudin too. They’re both awesome.
These guys drink Amp. For some reason that makes me like these guys that much more. So yeah if you’re in Fenton for whatever reason, stop by here to check them out.

I love this place! It is close to my house and they have a large selection of different cuts of meat and prepared meats. Prices are hard to beat too. Ribs, hamburger, steak or whatever is priced better than about any grocery store and is better quality.
Give the Texas Grillers a try. They are tenderized sirloin wrapped in cheddar cheese and are terrific. They also have very tasty kabobs.
I’ve never eaten inside, but they do have waited on tables in a dining room where you can get bbq with different sides. I have taken out their pork steaks and they have always had great flavor and are super tender and again, the price is awesome. I don’t buy my meat from anywhere else now.

I came to Holland Café a few months ago, so excuse me if my memory is a little fuzzy when it comes to this place! I’m trying to piece things together as best as I can.
I was in the mood for barbecue one day, so since Holland Café is not too far from my job, I decided to pay them a visit on my way home from work.
Holland Café is in the heart of Fenton, and it shows. I’m not going to lie; when I pulled into the parking lot and saw a bunch of pickup trucks (and one with a confederate flag hanging from their rearview mirror), I was a little nervous. Okay… I was REALLY nervous. It’s not often that I’m made painfully aware of my race, but this was definitely one of those times.
Anyway, my desire for food trumped my fears, so I trudged inside.
Holland Café is quite the cute little place! It’s not fancy by any means; it’s one of those places where you could visit in tattered jeans and a wife beater, and no one would blink an eye. Take note, hoosiers.
Okay…food. I went with a pulled pork sandwich with BBQ beans and french fries. I ordered it to-​go, and my food was ready pretty quickly. It wasn’t too pricey, either!
I took it to my car, and the smell was overwhelming. I couldn’t wait to get home to try it; I had to sample some now!
I took a bite of the pulled pork sandwich. Delicious! The pork was tender and flavorful. The BBQ sauce was smoky and sweet. The bun was soft and warm. It was perfect.
The BBQ beans and fries were also pretty fantastic! No complaints there.
In conclusion, I’m a fan of Holland Café. I would definitely return, although I don’t think I would make the trek from home to visit; this is strictly a lunch break or «on the way home» kind of place for me.

The café has really good food and excellent, friendly service. The price of everything is very reasonable. The meat market has some of the best meat in the St. Louis area. While your there you can’t forget to purchase some of the best beef jerky and sausages you will find anywhere.
