Late 1980s run-down family digs, but functional and clean. Great prices, reliably good steak, super thoughtful server(great hospitality). We will definitely return with our insatiable teens who love a good steak.

I love Lucky’s! This is probably my favorite steakhouse. I always enjoy coming here; the food is excellent and the atmosphere is cool! Also, service is very friendly. The first time I ever ate at a Lucky’s, we went to the restaurant in Clio. That restaurant is also nice. For the past view visits, we have come to this location. Anyway, my favorite dish is the filet and lobster. Those are probably my two favorite foods. The amount of steak and lobster served in the dish isn’t a tremendous amount of food, but enough to fill you up… if, you eat their delicious bread and side of sautéed mushrooms. Their sautéed mushrooms are the best I ever had! I always look forward to coming to Lucky’s, as I always have had a great experience! I would definitely recommend this to steak lovers.

Things have been a lot better lately in terms of the food quality, there was a period of time that the quality just wasn’t there. Recently I heard they were under new management, perhaps that’s the reason things have improved. If they can address the amount of time it takes to put in a take out order, and ensure that the steaks are always cooked to order, with accuracy then I’d happily update my review to 5 stars.

Decided to forgo our usual Friday night restaurant & give Lucky’s a try. We were not disappointed. Our server Casey, was phenomenal !! Right from the start, he was informative & answered all our questions about the menu + made a few suggestions. I had the raspberry martini which was excellent while hubby stayed with his usual 7&7 then we ordered crab cakes & stuffed mushrooms to start. Both appetizers were delicious. Only comment is that the crab cakes could have been fried longer as they were a bit on the mushy side where they should be nicely browned & crispy. The lobster sauce was an nice topping though. We both ordered the filet & lobster tail. Filets were done to perfection and even though the lobster tails were small, they were full of flavor. Lucky’s menu is fairly extensive from burgers to lamb chops & we plan on going back there in a few weeks as they have double cut lamb chops & lots of other entrees we want to try. One thing I should mention is the prices. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced & won’t bankrupt the average middle class family. Our bill including drinks, appetizers & entrees was only $ 65.00. Yes, we left a generous tip for Casey who deserved every penny of it. Hopefully, we will request & get him as our server the next time we go to Lucky’s. :-)

Not only was the prime rib superb, our server Samantha was excellent! She impressed my dad which is not an easy feat. Bummed I ordered a salad considering my mom loved her potato soup and dad loved his French onion. A nice complimentary bread served warm. Cheddar Mac and cheese side also good. Truly enjoyed dinner 1200 miles from home.

I stopped into Lucky’s a week ago to pick up a grilled cheese, some soup and some bread. Not sure what is going on there lately but the service and food has gone down hill. The grilled cheese was inedible. For one it looked like someone STEPPED on the sandwich. Not even kidding. The cheese was gross and looked like it had been sitting out for days, it was a orangish dried up color and the bread(on the sandwich) was terribly stale. The bread you get with dinner there was so hard we had to throw it away. I reached out via and email and sent in my concerns, they clearly dont care as I’ve yet to hear anything back from someone there. I am assuming they dont care… and they can be sure. I will think twice before returning or passing along a good word about their place!

Never have had a bad experience. It’s always good food, good drinks, good service. A little noisy in the dining room, but the bar area is a bit quieter.

The wait was looooong. We went on just a regular Sunday and waited an hour to be seated. The hostess sat us down and then asked us to get up, because they had made a mistake on their part. As for the food, I had the Rib-eye, and it was very good. It had good flavor and the au ju was salty like I like it. The bread was excellent and the sides were plentiful. I’ll definitely visit this place again. Hope the service is straightened out by then.

Excellent food, excellent customer service. The dining area gets kind of crowded when it fills up, that’s understandable but can be an issue if you don’t like tightly packed places. Price and atmosphere are great. Has definitely become my go to restaurant for a nice night out

I’ve heard about this place for years and finally decided to see what it was all about. I think my expectations were WAY too high. To start, somehow we managed a 10 minute wait for four on a Friday night so we were pretty happy but as soon as I saw the main dining room I was a bit shocked. It reminded me of a cross between Big Boy and Outback(no offense)-but not as nice or clean. This place needs a major update and a lesson on dinner atmosphere. But ok we came for the food. Our waitress S*(don’t want anyone to lose a job) was one of the worst I’ve ever had from the drink order on. Clearly didn’t want to be working, and was terribly rude at every interaction. During the dinner at various points we had to grab other waitstaff to help us. We are never THOSE people. On to the food-the reason we came. Good and lots of it at decent prices. Twin filets with shrimp, lamb chops, side of mushrooms, steak fries, salad and bread. Coconut shrimp a bit well done but good. Drinks-stick with beer. They can’t make a decent martini because we tried. Bottom line if you don’t care about atmosphere, service, cleanliness or drinks and are strictly there to eat, go for it. We do so we won’t be back.

Bar staff cannot pour drinks correctly. There are no specialty drinks for this restaurant. Seafood is frozen except for the salmon and grouper. I do not understand why they have to rely on frozen seafood. At least the bread is good. Onion soup is good has a nice flavor. The presentation was as expected. The server was a little slow and got our salads wrong, but was a fair server. I have had much worse. Atmosphere was crowded, noisy and dark. Needs to be modernized. I got the pecan grouper it was good. It was one the fresh fish they do have on the menu. The garlic mashed potatoes were terrible bland and tasted old. I told waitress and she said they make them every day seemed almost argumentative to me. But she said she would get me a baked potato as I requested. The waitress brought the wrong steak to one of the members of our table. The steaks were good but I’ve had much better. The baked potato was not cooked properly. It was hard and dry and inedible. This restaurant has missed the mark at be a good restaurant. At most I rate it mediocre to poor.

What can I say, this is one of the best steak houses I have been to. And I have been to many of them. What makes this even better is the prices. You have the fancy steak house quality and taste, with out the fancy prices. Steak or seafood it’s great!

We have been frequent customers of Lucky’s as of late. It has never disapointed. The Prime Rib and Steakhouse Salad are my favorites. Awesome bread and a great variety of sides make this a solid win at a reasonable price.

Another fabulous meal at Lucky’s! Had the twin filet with shrimp scampi, which was cooked to perfection. Server forgot to put in our appetizer order, but that was ok. Excellent food, ok service, dynamite atmosphere– love that place. Highly recommend. A++

I can fill up on the bread and salad. Loaves of hot bread brought to the table. It’s the best. Pick from good fried cod, grouper or a steak.

Best steak of my life was had at this Lucky’s location. I’ve had other awesome ones at Lucky’s in various locations since, but this one was so great. I got the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes alone are worth the price of admission. We make a special trip to Lucky’s for various occasions. Love it.

OMG! This place is the best steak house ever! I cannot say that too many times because I don’t want you to forget. No… really…I mean it! I had the most mouth watering NY strip steak and my hubby got a «melt in your mouth» prime rib! These meals came with really great tasting side dishes and many to choose from. We shared as a family so that we could taste a few different ones. There was«to die for» garlic mashed potatoes! I had several choices of french fries, steak fries, slender fries and they were so wonderful and made my mouth’s tastebud’s dance for joy! We went to Lucky’s because it’s in the city where my daughter lives. It’s about an hours drive from our house. But one time we even went when she wasn’t even home. We sat at the bar and visited with the«regulars». They were as nice as they could be! The bartender was as nice as she could be also! This was our second time there, or third, when we got the mouth melting and mouth watering steaks and prime ribs. The first time we just got Burgers, but those were soooo dang good too! They were full of taste and my husband had a great beer and we enjoyed talking to the«regulars» who say that they«love this place» and some of them come weeklly! I tell you… if we lived nearer to this restaurant, which is way ahead of the«Outback Steackhouses»(if you ask me… and you did)…we would certainly become«regulars» and eat there as often as possible! LOVE… LOVE…LOVE it!!! Ok… the not so great news… you knew it was coming, right? Well, the service was good but not the best. The first time we went, it was awful… the second time we went we sat at the bar and she was great! The bartender gave us super service and with a smile and a great chat too! Then this last time we went, the service was just«OK» but everything else was perfect and it was not awful service… believe me, I’ve had much worse… Worth every penny to eat here !!
