Mega Coney Island

Excellent fast/​service, great prices and good food. We love going to Mega, it’s very consistent and we’ve never had any issues. They can be very busy, but it never seems to be more than a few minutes wait. Great spot in Fenton to have Breakfast/​Lunch.

Love this place. Our DPD Retiree group meet there from all over the state several times a year.

I love this place. We’ve been coming here for 25 years. The food is delicious and always at a good price. But the best thing about Mega is the staff. Every single person is always smiling. It doesn’t matter who your server is, they all stop to refill, clear, serve. And always friendly. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good meal and service.

Great restaurant, always huge portions. great breakfast, lunch, I need to try the dinners. Waitresses always happy and very well dressed, I’m in at least once a week. And always pleased.

Great coney food. I get the baby grilled chicken Greek salad! I always end up eating the rest of it on our drive home! Great friendly, energetic servers too! A favorite place to stop on our way home from camping in MI.

They have a large variety on the menu. A little something for everyone. I have eaten here many times and the food is very good, but it is your average coney. No bells and whistles, but great coney food.

This is my family’s favorite place to eat. The staff is always friendly. They recognize you when you walk in and take care of anything you need asap when you’re at your table. Your drinks never run out. The food is great and if there is anything wrong they don’t hesitate to correct it right away.

Stopped in Friday the 16 about 1pm and there was a good size crowd.
The food is good and there is plenty of it, but what really makes this place 5 star is the staff. I stopped in on a whim, I was hungry and was just going to grab fast food and get back on the highway. Glad I changed my mind! It is wonderful to get a genuinely friendly greeting. I felt like a regular the second I walked in. I was also impressed with the cooperation between servers and the great vibe between them. Talk about well oiled machine — but with smiles. Everyone engaged customers giving the place such a «you belong here» atmosphere. Anytime I pass Fenton, I will be stopping!

Had the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. It’s a 10! So much, enough for 3 meals. Two chicken breasts, black olives, celery, peppers, beets, and tons of Feta. The dressing is creamy. The staff are super friendly, yet not annoying.

A bit of a regular now, this place deserves a positive review. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had two employees dedicated solely to refilling guest’s coffee mugs. The service is impressive, and they do their eggs perfectly. The portions aren’t really that mega, thankfully. This place is my new favorite coney.

I really like this place! Great coney island foods and the staff is always friendly and prompt. The ladies… are nice :) very easy on the eyes. Definitely a great place for coneys & some ice cream!

I love this restaurant. Whether dining in or going in the drive thru (um yes awesome for a quick meal) we have always had correct orders, hot food and it is delicious. I would recommend to anyone who likes a burger, fries, coney, chicken pita or anything else!

First time here. Very clean restaurant. Our waitress were very friendly and kept our water full. We ordered club sandwich and hotdog for my daughter. She loves her fries and hot dog. My sandwich came out perfect, crispy toasts and bacon, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, not too dry turkey. We definitely coming back here again. Next time I will try one of their Detroit coney dog and flint coney dog.

I’ve eaten at Mega several times and the food is plentiful, but don’t expect to eat healthy here.
It is a true coney island — breakfast anytime and lots of sandwiches and burgers and salads. The salads are huge, but so loaded with cheese and meat that you can hardly call it a healthy option. I only found one item on the menu that I thought would be a healthy choice and ordered grilled chicken breasts. I will say the chicken portion was large and it was VERY spicy, but it was cooked too long and was very dry. The dinner came with choice of salad, cole slaw or soup and a potato — only choices are instant mashed potatoes drowned in canned chicken gravy, french fries or hash browns. There was some canned corn on the plate too. The tossed salad is a plate full of iceberg lettuce with a couple of tomato slices on it. Not too exciting. My husband had fish & chips and his comment as we left was «every time we come here for dinner I wish I hadn’t». He said the fish & french fries were greasy.
This is an ok place for breakfast or for sandwiches and burgers. But there are no healthy options — the only fish they offer is fish & chips. Not a true dinner restaurant in my mind.

I love this coney island. I live in flint Twp. So I go to the flint mega most of the time, but this one is better. Food tastes a lot better, and its cleaner.

The service is some of the best in our county. Food is delivered fast and fresh. The Greek salad is a must. Heartiness is the name of the game at breakfast time. I rarely finish my omlettes. Cucumber sauce is tasty. I gave it five stars because I have not been to a better Coney Island.

First visit here, and I enjoyed it! Clean, friendly young ladies work really hard to make sure everyone’s glasses are full, and plates are cleared off the tables. My teenage son especially enjoyed the wait staff view-​just saying. So, as a specail treat to him, we’ll make it a point to visit every now and then. The food was typical coney food-​had the grilled pita sandwich, and it was a very good portion. Daughter had the chicken strips, which were also of good quality…

Standard coney island. Great stop on the way from Ann Arbor to Flint/​beyond. The only real point that stands out to me is they have two different styles of coneys… The Detroit, which is the standard chili dog and the Flint that replaces the standard chili with seasoned ground beef.
I was interest in the Flint, so I ordered one of each. Great snack/​small meal!

Mega is a consistently good diner. The Flint style Coney Dogs are as good as any I have had in Genesee County. The omelets are huge and very tasty. There is nothing fancy about the place, just good food at a reasonable price.
