I used to come to this studio for art classes a while back when the studio used to be located in the defunct Crestwood Mall, when the mall had its Arts and Crafts revival. Cathy said she had 37 years of experience with teaching, primarily with grade school children.
Unfortunately, you can tell. She was more of a Drill Sergeant than an actual art instructor. She was very snappy and oftentimes, she was very rude. Sometimes, I tried to do a few exercises outside of class and she would come back with a rude response such as «you traced that».
I just didn’t feel comfortable with coming back. Not at all recommended.
