I usually don’t write reviews on gas stations, but there is a first for everything. The thing that makes this place exceptional is a few things. One is you are staying down on the river at say Leisure Resort this is the closest place for provisions by far. It is 12 miles to San Marcos, and 12 miles to Lockhart. The ladies working in here are super nice. The lady making the breakfast tacos went out of her way to make each of my family exactly what they wanted. They kind of specialize in pre-​made tacos and sandwiches so making them special items was very much appreciated. The breakfast sausage sandwich is super big on what tastes like freshly made buns. The lady running the counter was helping me pile all of my items on the counter. In short the people make this location special and that I can come in here at 6 a.m. when my family is sleeping in a cabin 2 minutes down the road.
