Desi’s Farm

BEWARE! Do NOT use this florist. I hired Desi to provide my bridal bouquet, the arch for our ceremony, and a few miscellaneous rentals. I paid her $ 250 as a partial payment for the items (more than the deposit she required by the contract.) I thought everything was fine and on track until early July (3 months prior to my wedding) when Desi abruptly told me she was no longer providing the arch. I had to scramble to find another arch! I contacted Desi wanting to cancel the rest of the rentals given that she breached the contract but she refused to return my deposit! She cited all the time she had put into my designs… I literally only ordered one flower bouquet and the arch that required actual designs, the rest were just rentals she had in her inventory. I was extremely polite and patient with her, yet she refused to answer my emails for weeks. I finally had to send her an email asking why she was ignoring me before she finally responded. In that response email, she told me she was angry with me over a question I asked regarding the dimensions of the arch. She said by asking how tall the arch was that I was clearly asking for more product for the same amount of money… Seriously?!? I was asking a legitimate question regarding the height of the arch, nothing more, nothing less. She never provided the actual dimensions or a picture of her design and I needed to know the answers so my venue could accommodate accordingly. She misconstrued what I was asking and then held on to an insane grudge based on her own misunderstanding for months without even asking me to clarify my intentions. She’s unprofessional and unresponsive. DO NOT USE HER! But if you’re still considering her, read her contract VERY CAREFULLY! I consulted with a lawyer who, after reading it, said she would have NEVER signed it! In the end, she gave $ 100 back but was so rude! I thought she was going to be a good florist given that she had other great reviews, but I was so wrong! She ruined wedding planning for the last several months and that’s time that I’ll never get back. She clearly doesn’t know how to deal with brides and I would definitely NOT recommend her for anything, let alone one of the most important days your life.
