It’s a stinking clean rest stop; I’m always imaging a dirty, grungy messy mess of a place, when I stop, but I’m presently surprised how clean they always are. While I wouldn’t necessarily have a picnic here, they have picnic tables, and vending machines for those needing a boost of sugar/caffeine. This was a perfect mini-stop for a restroom, and a stretch a bit, in the middle of a long drive. I’m sure that most people will never stop at one of these, in due fear of the unknown, but rest assured, it’s actually okay, because it’s exactly what they are built for.

Convenient, clean, and the closest one to the border going either direction. No fabulous views or anything but has the typical pet area, as well as a few covered picnic tables.
