My daughter’s friend had her Bday party here — awesome! Perhaps I wax nostalgic — I was a big roller skater at places such as Skaters World in the late 70s-early 80s — and this is a total throwback in the best way possible. I was out there with my daughter for 3 hours on a Sunday. Woohoo! The music has changed since I was young but who cares, the lights, the teens doing tricks in the middle. We played limbo(at least two of us parents were out there embracing our youth) and some other little team race on rollie things I had vague memories of playing on as a kid. We’ll be booking our daughter’s bday party here for the fun skating and super welcoming staff. We started saving our bands — skate 5 times get your 6th visit free. Thursdays — I think it is, call to be sure — is $ 20 for 5 admissions/rentals, to me that’s a great night of fun and exercise(I forgot how skating tones the bum and legs). And one night a week is full of the«oldies» 70’s music at 7, 80’s at 8 and 90’s at 9, but you can always place requests with the DJ — we did! And for all you roller bladers — yep, there were blades on the rink, too. Enjoy people — this is good clean fun for everyone, especially in the winter when we all are wanting for movement. PS I just want to add the rink flooring itself is obviously kept in lovingly good condition. So nice to roll on. And the facility on our visit was clean and tidy — old yes — but as it goes up in the country if we support our own, they will be able to grow and improve with our support. I hope Skaters World continues on comfortably to the next generation and beyond.
