Recently moved to the area. Tried this place for the first time. Although my meal was good, my husbands was not. Once we received our food, we never saw the waitress again until she brought our check. We were not offered refills on our drinks nor asked if things were «okay»; my husbands steak was over cooked and his dinner roll had a hole matching a thumb. The waitress offered a discount for his meal or some ice cream. The table across the way waited 20 min for their glass of wine. Staff needs better training in service to the public. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this restaurant.

This was our first dinner in the area. The staff was friendly, but after the hostess sat us it took our server a while to come to our table. The food tasted good, but my steak was under cooked. The server did offer to have a new one made, but by the time it took her to come back to the table after our food was delivered I was hungry and had ate most of it, so I declined. Overall it was a good experience.

Of the Fernley casino restaurants, Jake The Snake (as my parents call it because of their logo), is hands down the best! They have great food offerings, friendly staff and consistent service.
Went here for a casual birthday dinner for my mom. The parents ordered up their favorites and I chose a patty melt (one of my go-to’s). This was hands down the BEST patty melt I’d ever had, even made a point to mention that to the parents and they were pleased as if it were one of their babies.
My water was always filled and tummy happy. I will be back!

Funny I thought I had reviewed this place before. As I thought I said before… this place is good. And for the Saturday Steak and Eggs special… it’s actually pretty good. Every time I’ve been the portions have been quality, the quality has been proportional to the prices, actually even better.
The atmosphere is typical casino but with a few exceptions. It’s very clean and it’s not really impacted by smoke inside the restaurant. I’m super sensitive to smoke normally but nothing effects me here in the restaurant.
For breakfast… try the skillets… large and a whole days worth of food.

Check out urbanspoon for more reviews. Seems they are all spot on. Really, the only good thing here is the salad bar (excellent) and the soups (even better than the salad bar). The food is awful. Nothing has any favor at all; I don’t think they use any seasoning on anything. Even breakfast here, which is hard to screw up, is terrible. I pretty much ONLY eat here when I want a soup and salad, or when forced to because of an unsuspecting visiting family member who just wants to try it out. Yuck.

They serve breakfast all day so I had a good veggie omelet at 4 PM. Food was fine, toast especially good — thick, real bread. Service was good although there were few customers when I was there. Only real distraction is smoke. The restaurant is no-​smoking, but the adjacent casino is not. Second hand smoke drifts in and is noticeable to a non-​smoker.
