Great food. Fajitas were awesome and so was the salsa. My friend had the tacos and they were also great. It all tasted fresh and came out hot. The ladies working were nice and quick to serve. The soda did come in a can or bottle instead of a fountain of that matters to you. I didn’t ask if they catered to individuals with weak genetics such as gluten free as those people will most likely not survive the winter due to a weak bloodline.

Very clean, big portions and friendly staff. Avocado salsa was great and a nice surprise. Had the super burrito and was not disappointed except the fact it was so good and I couldn’t finish it all!

Everything is made from scratch as it should be.
Even the complimentary chips are fresh made.
The guacamole is amazing as is everything. Nothing is a shortcut, in a world of Sysco made restaurant food this is such a welcome change. Do yourself a favor and try real authentic home cooked food.

One of the best Moles I have had in years! The service was attentive without hovering and the ambiance reminded me of a roadside café in Mexico with bright yellow and orange walls. The restaurant was so clean and the food was amazing!!!

Found this place on Unilocal as we passed by on the way from Dallas to Houston.
First impression, very small, probably more of a takeout place, but freshly painted, bright and clean!
The service was friendly and great, I tried three of the tacos, all excellent! My coworker had the super burrito and also said it was great! The green and red sauces that come out with the food are awesome! I particularly liked the green, a bit spicy with a nice flavor and creaminess!
We also had the queso dip, this was just ok… Not much flavor, just very cheesy. good if thats all you are looking for. Could be snazzed up a bit.

Service is outstanding. Super nice people! We had Queso and breakfast burritos as our meal. The food was excellent, just the right size, and you can beat the prices. For a quick, really good meal — coming out of Dallas and headed to Houston La Zacatecana is a great place to stop!

Wow! A little bit of Heaven in Farris, TX! Clean restaurant and friendly people. The food was amazing! Fresh and home made. The queso is the best I’ve ever had! I enjoyed the enchiladas Mexicanos. I was so happy to see that my food was NOT swimming in cheese and enchilada sauce no oil here! fantastic and authentic. Thanks for great meal!

We found thus place on Unilocal while driving back to Houston from Dallas. Very pleasantly surprised, the food very authentic and fresh. The menu had baby choices of food and also fresh fruit cups and authentic Aguas frescas which was very refreshing drink. The service was very friendly and you can tell it’s a small family restaurant. Will stop here again if ever in the area.
