Food is ok but main complaint is the service. it was busy when I first got here but now that I’m done with my meal, the crowd has thinned down considerably. Been waiting 15 minutes, no check not even a «how was you meal» from the staff. Service is everything when it comes to dining. No happy

This is a large venue to watch sports. Drinks are affordable. Service is provided. Food is available. Servers are attentive and super fast. Getting better. I enjoyed the Warriors beat OKC Thursday eve. 16 oz bud for 3.25.

Lame. Great location, very good service, bad food. The menu claims they hand stretch their dough for the pizzas. Don’t believe it! frozen pizza dough with uninspired sauce and toppings. A trap if I ever saw one.

Our first visit to Fillmore was to ride the train with the cub scouts. After our tour we decided to check out Central Ave. Even though it was Sunday some shops were still open and we saw Central Station. The doors were open and they were just putting the umbrellas up on the patio. Upon entering it was definitely a sports bar vibe and we decided to sit on the patio to enjoy the nice weather. My husband and sons went to the restroom while I sat and ordered waters until they returned. The server was patient and friendly. She advised they were out of tri-tip and some thing else. Upon his return, my husband said the men’s room was nothing special but did have a toilet that was in need of service. The server took our order and made helpful suggestions regarding kids meals(which I didn’t see on the menu). My husband imagined how it must smell good when they are cooking on their patio barbeque. It looked like locals were enjoying the football games playing on the screens above the bar. I liked the collection of neon signs on the wall. When the food arrived, the steak fries were perfectly fried, my children enjoyed the chicken«strips» and my husband and I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches with barbeque sauce. Upon my first bite I was pleased with the toasted bun’s garlic-buttery flavor and the pork was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the beer battered onion rings. They were crispy and sweet. We left the restaurant happily satisfied and went to check out the local shops. On our way back to the car I was going to use their bathroom but found the front door locked and a property for sale sign on the door. We didn’t notice it on our way in the first time. The patio umbrellas were now down and the patio doors were also closed despite the sign saying they were open till 8pm. As we drove away, I saw our server leaving out a side door and wondered if they were closed for good. I tried to call but there was no answer.

This is a great little watering hole. Excellent pizza, bbq, and appetizers. Always have cold beer and friendly servers! Cool little outdoor patio as well.

Central Station has a great location on the main strip in the little quiet town of Fillmore. this is a «location town» which means Hollywood uses it as «any town USA» all the time. I have been to Central Station at least 3 times before, this however this was before I was a Unilocal addict. I drive the 126 on a regular basis and have had a nagging urge to go back just so I could check-in and write a review… The burger. it is still the solid burger I have had every time! Today I took my 18 year old daughter with me, we were on set off pear blossom highway and stopped in on the way home. For the food to still be top of the mark BAM! 5 stars RIGHTNOW! Cold beer, good food and a collage game on the TV’s not a bad lunch! They have one burger on the menu, the super chunk burger we added bacon and cheese. cooked to a juicy perfection. They state it’s the best burger you will ever have, it is in my top burger list with out a doubt. The sad and down side is that there is a for sale sign on the front door. ruh roh shaggy!

Came here with a friend who lives in Filmore and she made sure we got some service by grabbing the table *right* next to the kitchen. This way, she said, we could flag down a server if we needed something. It was a little harder than it sounded, but we did get okay service. Pizza was good. Giant and with a decent amount of toppings and they tasted fresh. Tried their chocolate cake for dessert and was pleased. The cake was moist and very rich. I wouldn’t mind returning here, especially if I’m not in a hurry. :)

Have not eaten. Wasn’t given a menu. Ordered a red beer that was great but have not been talked to since. Same kinda service last time and that’s what I think this will be. The last time I come here.

In this sleepy town of Fillmore, is a lone grill. The bar looks like a throwback to an era where you can see some real gristly train folk come in for a bottle of rye, and would ask to «leave the bottle.» A barbecue sits outside, slowly roasting meat. It wafts across this tiny town. This is a really cool joint. Low key getaway spot in the middle of town. I can’t imagine too much going on here. Just a nice duck out place from the congestion of Los Angeles, if you travel this way. It’s nice enough away from Ventura too. Just a really relaxing quiet place. The beers are cheap($ 2.50 for domestic). And the wings on Tuesdays & Thursdays are only $ 5. I don’t come up this way too much. I was on a location scout just sniffing out the place. I got followed by a bum when walking through town. And most of the shops are closed. But CS was a nice oasis to kick back and observe the ebbs and flows of the town.

Yummy flatiron steak sandwich and coleslaw. Husbands end cut prime rib was good, not great. His mashed taters were ok not the best! But we will definitely be back. Good extensive grill/bar menu!

We’ve been to Central Station a few times, and every time it continuously gets worse. It has never been a 5 star joint, but this evenings experience was just ridiculous. After a long day at work, we like to get out for happy hour. Normally we’ll go to Garmans in Santa Paula(5 star joint) or El Pescador, but against our better judgement, we decided we’d try Central Station again. When I think of HH, based on what other restaurants serve, you have a bar menu, and a food menu. The only thing they have on HH is beer. Not everybody drinks beer. The beer HH is actually pretty reasonable, I think I paid 3.75. But my wife doesn’t drink beer. $ 11 for a mixed drink, in a tumbler? It’s not even a full glass, and it’s weak. So she decided on a pepsi. When I asked the server why there was nothing else on the HH menu, she responed with«there just isn’t». There are no food items on the HH menu. We decided we’d try the sampler platter. It consists of 1 potato skin, cut in half. 2 frozen breaded chicken strips, cut in half. A single flauta, cut in half. 3 chicken wings, and maybe 6 rib tips, barbque sauce and WATERED down Ranch dressing for $ 12. When they brought the plate out, all the fried stuff was warm, but the rib tips were cold to the touch. When we had to call the wait staff over, she took the plate, along with the rest of the wait staff to the kitchen. Not sure what was going on there, I’ll leave it to your imagination. When our food was returned, we asked for a to-go box, paid the bill and left. This will be the last time I visit Central Station. It is overpriced, and the wait staff just waits for you to get their attention.

We came on a Saturday and sat outside. The wait staff was friendly and the pizza was amazing. Very fresh and the crust was delicious. The tri tip sandwich was also very good. Would definitely come back.

I wouldn’t know if their food was good since they were out of almost everything when the owner was out of town. Waited about 10 mins before I had to ask for a drink, even though two different waitresses came to our table. The service sucks, they don’t pay attention to you. Since most of the waiters are related to the owner it doesn’t seem like anything will change.

They would have been better off with a food truck! The food is really good, but the wait staff is seriously the worst thing I’ve ever experienced! So if you’re in any kind of rush, this is the last place you wanna be.

This place sucks!!! Poor service, they call it a sports bar with limited channels. The hours to open on Sundays is around 11:00 — 11:30 they say! Once I was watching the end of a sc game & the bartender shut of the tv! Amazing. Didn’t go back for a year. Decided to try them again… middle of afternoon Wanted to order food…, kitchen closed at 2:30 in the afternoon during football games on a Sunday… WTF

Ate there once and the food was ok. Went there again tonight, sat down, and continued to wait. Waiter walked 4 ft from us to give another guest their check and he never even acknowledged us. There were about 12 people in the whole place and we never even got so much as a «hello». 3 employees on the floor! We are not the type of people to sit and be ignored so we got up and walked straight out. NEVERAGAIN! LIFETIMEBANFORYOUCENTRALSTATION!!!
