Dr. Clint McKnight went above and beyond last night with a half hour phone consult for our Irish Setter, Caleb. His Admin was professional and kind when I left the message in the afternoon and predicted I would not get a call back until about 5:30 that night — which I did! Having managed a vet hospital and been a vet tech off and on for the last twenty years, I have a somewhat caustic view of veterinarians being mercenary in their profession. Not so with Dr. McKnight! He is an equine and canine practitioner who is both articulate and knowledgeable. He advised that we take Caleb to his regular vet for radiographs to diagnose what is likely a prolapsed disc in his vertebrae. Still, I was relieved to have a vet take so much of his time to advise us on the next steps. Definitely will use his services and recommend anyone who cares about their pets to go with this doctor. His mobile fees are totally reasonable — it would have been $ 110 ($ 30 for the visit and $ 80 for the chiropractic therapy. So glad I found him as a resource!
