Nice park with lots of activites, shelters, bathrooms, and other activity options. I went there for Disc Golf. The disc golf course is 18 holes that play close to each other. This is a wonderful Par 3 course. I shot right around par for the course. They say that some of the holes are Par 4 and one Par 5 but I would play them as Par 3s and maybe the 18th as a Par 4. I am just recreational player and if I can Birdie a few holes and par most of the others then you know it isn’t too difficult. Most of the holes range from 250−350ft. There is minimal trees in the fairway and I didn’t have any issues with trying to find discs. No dense woods or brush. Only one hole comes near to water which still is no issue unless you have a mean slice to the left. There is also a nice bike/horse/walking path around the park. I believe this covers most of my wants and needs for a park. The disc gold course could be advanced a little with a few more pro tees that are not within 20 ft of the normal tee.

Riverbend Park is a large, multi-faceted recreational center off to the east of Findlay, and north of city reservoir. Being tucked away under 568 allows for a surprising amount of seclusion and quiet. It offers a broad array of amenities, such as nature trails, horse trails, disc golf, covered picnic areas, fishing, the Brugeman Lodge, a dog park, playgrounds, and beach volleyball courts. While I find Litzenberg more scenic and Riverside more accessible, this is a great place to go for a walk or do other outdoor activities. I’ve been to graduation parties and wedding receptions out here and the facilities worked very well for the events. It’s definitely a great area to go to, when you’re not really sure what to do with yourself in Findlay.
