After initially ordering our food, it was about 25 minutes until another waitress came over to ask if we had placed an order. Apparently our original waitress had left because we never saw her again. The food was cold by the time it got to us. There was only one other table of customers there so it wasn’t busy at all but there was enough time for the people that work there to discuss working at Bath & Body Works on Black Friday (yup, everyone in the dining room can hear your guys’ conversations) so that was disappointing. The waitresses were super nice but just seemed inexperienced and a bit incompetent. A far cry from the days Jacks Prime Time used to be at that location, that’s for sure.

Bakersfield, CA
Came from Bakersfield to meet my cousin from San Francisco for lunch. It’s the perfect middle point to meet from both cities. The food is typical of what you’d expect from a mom and pop American diner. Our server gave us excellent service! The place was clean and for noon time, wasn’t too crowded. Overall, not bad.

This is definitely a quaint hangout comprised mostly of agricultural business owners and management. With that said, the service is very friendly, personable, and the burgers are amazing. Without fail, I order the Triple X Burger. It has two perfectly grilled patties, fresh vegetables from the area, AND with a THICK but tender slice of roast beef centered in the middle! Dynamite combination, flavorful, and very good service. I feel bad letting this secret out but this place is outstanding.
TIP one: Order ahead since wait times at lunch can linger a bit. Perfection takes time.

it’s there in the middle of farmlands. if u work near it’s convenient. if not it’s not that worth it to drive all the way out. I usually remember good food. here, I can’t even remember what I ate/​ordered.

Excellent food, friendly staff, great atmosphere… what’s not to love?! I have never had a bad meal at the Farmer’s Daughter. Yes, they get very busy at lunch time, especially during the spring and summer, but well worth the wait!

Went to have lunch, could not get any service, I guess cleaning tables and customers who sat down after me were more important, I hope you can get your review and correct the problem, this was my favorite place to eat in firebaugh.
