Almost as good as being home! We recently stayed here when our floors were refinished in our home and booked here because it was the only hotel near our home that would accept our cat. We expected to stay only a couple of days but due to problems with the refinishing, we ended up needing to stay 10 days. What a nice surprise this hotel was!!! The front desk staff were all very cheerful and accommodating with the several changes we needed to make with our reservation and even offered helpful suggestions to make our stay less painful considering the chaos we were going through with our home. They always offered a friendly greeting whenever we were coming & going. Our room was located on the top floor which gave nice views of the mountains(just like home!). The room was very spacious and was kept clean during our whole visit. We requested to not have the room vacuumed unless we were there to crate our kitty(she’s very old and skittish). They were even cheerfully willing to send a person up when we couldn’t be around at the regular cleaning time for a couple of days to vacuum.

The room wasn’t bad, and it was fairly quiet, except for the occasional neighbor running at a full sprint down the hallway. The only real issue that I had with the hotel is a personal pet peeve that I have with some hotels, and that is with the TV sets. They upgraded the TV sets to nice, high definition sets, but the TV signal going to them is good old fashioned analog standard definition. Luckily, these TV sets aren’t locked down hotel TV sets, and I was able to capture an over-the-air high definition signal. Luckily, the reception is good there! Don’t worry, I put the TV back the way it’s supposed to be before I left! The room was clean, except for cookie crumbs that were in an area of the floor for three days after I checked in before it was vacuumed by housekeeping. All in all, not a bad experience.

If you don’t have a pet with you, I wouldn’t advise you to stay here. Our room located on the 1st floor smelled VERY strong of pet urine. You could taste it, it was so bad. I tried using my perfumes to cover bit up, didn’t work, gross!!! Won’t be staying here again.

Worst customer service EVER! My family stayed at this property in May, and my son left his wallet behind. Hotel management contacted us; I provided my Fedex account number so that they could ship the wallet back to us. This should have been easy… we should have had the wallet back in a few days. However… THEYSHIPPEDITTO A DIFFERENTGUEST, and we received a package with that guest’s computer cord! Long story short – it took a MONTH and almost $ 90 in fedex charges to finally resolve this issue. Hotel management has been uncooperative, and blames Fedex for putting the wrong labels on the wrong packages. And, Choice Hotels guest relations has also been spectacularly unhelpful. What a frustrating experience! Won’t be staying at this property again, and will avoid the Choice Hotels properties in general.
