I do not reccomend coming here. We walked in wanting a hair cut for my 9 year old sister. We did make an online reservation and got in right away. A younger girl was very nice and took her to the first seat. Before even pulling out the scissors she came over to me and my mom and told us she could not cut her hair due to lice. Being girls of very thick hair we have dealt with lice before. We immediately went home and checked her head to toe for lice, and EVEN went to a lice care specislist. No bug or egg to be found. Not only did she waste our time, and money… She lost a regular costumer. And even worse was the fact that my sisters friend went there weeks later and had the exact same thing happen. She had no lice either. If there was an option for zero stars it would be on my review.

I was never impressed with the rude staff or their hair cutting skills (with the exception of a sweet young girl with extra long hair– can’t remember her name) but kept coming back because of the $ 6.99 and $ 7.99 deals they frequently have– we are a family of 5 and someone always needs a haircut so the deals were too good to pass up. Anyway, we recently got a service dog for our epileptic son, so, one day we brought the dog in so our children could get their hair cut. An older woman with a lot of makeup and 80’s styled hair refused us service because of our service dog. I kindly tried explaining to her that this is a working dog (hence the fire engine red service dog vest she was wearing) and that this dog has every right to be here and that denying us service would be discrimination. She then proceeded to yell at our family and told us that she knows the laws here and that the dog wasn’t allowed and that she was calling the owner. After making us wait for 25 minutes (I had to stay to set an example for my son who would one day need to advocate for himself), I guess the owner told her she was wrong because she sheepishly came out and told us that she would cut our children’s hair with the dog present. Well, you get what you pay for and sometimes a deal isn’t worth it– I don’t recommend this establishment nor will we ever be back.

I arrived around 9:45 on Thursday morning and there was no wait. Jen did a good job cutting my hair. Once she ascertained that I don’t use any «product» she didn’t attempt to persuade me to buy any. I am happy and will return.

I walked… didn’t do an online reservation… so one person after the next came in and got their hair cut while I sat. After 25minutes I walked out. I went to the local barber, Mr Todd in Frederick… no wait, great cut. I hate setting appointments just for a hair cut. I like walking in, first come first serve much better.
