Very pleased with the friendly welcome I receive every time I walk in the door. :-) Gail, you do such a great job of making everyone feel welcome! Kudos to you. The reason I chose this place was because of the previous reviews (shocking, huh) — but pretty much every review mentioned the kindness you feel when you visit. And, they were all correct.
I’ve been going to the chiropractor ever since I was in 5^th or 6^th grade. I have scoliosis, so any time of weird twist or turn can totally put my back out of whack. When I used to live in Winchester, I would go to the chiropractor in Union City (neighboring town) and LOVED the results each and every time. Back pain is the worst — and I have been a solid believer of chiropractors ever since my first visit. So, when I moved to Indianapolis I had to accept the fact that I wouldn’t be able to conveniently travel back to Union City emergency back pain appointments.
So — I began looking up chiropractors in the Fishers area as I needed somewhere I could go to during my lunch break. I came across About Life Chiropractic and decided to give it a whirl. I think with chiropractors you either have a really great or really bad experience. Thankfully, I was very happy with the results after my first visit. Dr. Carleton is great at her job and is super nice to chat with during your adjustment. Definitely recommend this place. :-)

These ladies are the bomb. The office is brightly colored and friendly. The adjustments get you feeling back to your normal self in no time. And the massages leave you as relaxed as a wet noodle. Treat yourself to better health.

Stop right there. You have just found your chiropractor home. When you visit About Life you walk in the door and are greeted by Gail. The thing about Gail is that she is always smiling and makes you feel like she is genuinely happy to see you. She seems to be a jack of all trades helping Dr. Julie with a little of this and a little of that. She is always checking to make sure you feel good and know exactly what is going on. People say that the personality of the front desk employee is a good indicator of the personality of the office. This is absolutely true.
Then there is Heather, the massage therapist. She provides an amazing deep tissue massage and I love how she communicates what she finds with Dr. Julie to provide even better care. She is easy going and pleasant. I love visiting her and feel wonderful each time I leave.
On to Dr. Julie. The first thing that stood out to me is how well she listens. She truly cares about exactly what is hurting and wants to do everything she can to make it better. She uses an activator with no cracking which has proven to be effective and not at all painful. She explains everything she is about to do and is so gentle. She is wonderful.
If you want to be cared for and treated well, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way.

Dr Julie has really helped my back/​neck pain and sciatic nerve issues. Her non-​cracking methods are different than any other chiropractor that I’ve been to, but it works, and I feel safe not being twisted around. I once had a neurologist tell me to never go to a chiropractor that cracks, so I’m glad that I don’t have to worry.
Marie is an outstanding massage therapist. She’s personable, knowledgeable, and makes me feel brand new every time I see her. Highly recommend!
