Today is opening day for The Apple Store. I was surprised that it opened on Labor Day. To kick this season, your entire purchase was 15% off. I bought the $ 8 gourmet apple with caramel, dark chocolate, nuts, little M&M, white drizzles, etc. The best price for a gourmet apple I have purchased. It is huge. I will try it shortly. Also, if you pick up a Fun Guide in Conner Prairie, on the back inside cover there is a 10% off of $ 5 or more purchase to be used by October 21, 2014. One coupon per family. They accept credit cards. Store hours are Tuesday — Sunday 11AM — 5PM.

Conner Prairie Apple Store has the best apple cider slushies. I always get a little sad when summer ends but then I remember it’s almost slushie time, which brings me great happiness.

Absolutely love going here in the fall! They have awesome apple cider, the apple cider slushy is delicious as well! We usually get a big candy apple or sliced apple with Carmel while there! Delicious, I highly recommend stopping by here if you are in the area.

I make it a point to the go to the Apple Store every year. It’s a tradition that a friend and I have started and it’s a fun thing. Not only that, it gets us to Conner Prairie, as well. They have lots of kitschy things, ceramic platters, decorative items, candles, etc. And of course, they have apples. Apples dipped in caramel, apples on their own, apple cider, apple slushies, apple donuts. They also have pumpkin spice donuts(by the way… the donuts are stupidly good). Finally, they have lots of chocolate items. I particularly like the mint meltaway chocolates. Yum. It’s a nice yearly Indy tradition. Just another thing that makes me love this place.

While a little pricey(especially after produce prices skyrocketed in the wake of this past summer’s drought), the Apple Store at Conner Prairie has become a fall tradition for our family. We love grabbing a gallon of cider, picking up some carmel apples, and perhaps even a cider slushie or other treats. My personal recommendation is getting a bag of popcorn, and asking for a bowl hot caramel in which to dip the popcorn. It’s the best«caramel corn» you’ll ever have – if a bit of a mess. Fall days were made for trips to Conner Prairie and the Apple Store. Don’t forget to check out their locally-produced baking products, ingredients, and other goodies, as well.

We look forward to The Apple Store opening every year! This place is AWESOME! And the staff is usually very kind and helpful. This is a must if you love apples, carmel apples, apple cider, apple cider slushies… my kids love the choc. covered marshmallows and pretzel sticks.

The Apple Store is the most amazing thing, other than the fact that it’s only open from early September to early November each year at Conner Prairie. But it’s worth the trip over for some of the most yummiest treats fall has to offer. Check out the Apple Store, open to anyone without museum admission, for some caramel apples, apple cider slushies, apple and pumpkin pie, cakes, other dessert mixes, fresh apples(of course), popcorn, and awesome gifts. You’ll find a bit of everything. And it’s always a great place to shop for teacher gifts! Lots of apple-themed items. And another great thing about the Apple Store at CP is that the sales made here benefit Conner Prairie’s educational programs!
