Wow, environmental friendliness is really expensive these days.
$ 1 per screen size inch to recycle my old and busted 27″ TV? Ouch. I was expecting a flat fee around $ 10. And having to walk in a nearly-​empty carpet showroom, ask about recycling, then drive around to the back of the building to drop it off? Weird and awkward. Cash only? Ugh.
I do appreciate that this service exists, however … saving the world is great. Plus, it’s located close to my workplace so I could hit it up on my lunch hour. All things said and done, EOL is A-​OK.
