Decided to stop in and try this place after passing it by numerous times. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the the taste and quality of the pizza. It reminded me a lot both in style and taste to that of the old Luca Pizza pizza places. Which I used to enjoy. I went for the $ 7.99 one topping carry out special. Which was was a good deal for the money. Good size pizza with plenty of cheese and toppings. Only minor complaint or annoyance would be that when I asked if I could do half pepperoni/half sausage I was told no, that counts as two toppings. Would have to pay extra. Having never been here before I thought it would be nice to try a couple varieties of toppings. I wasn’t terribly hungry but I figured I’d stop in and get something just to try the place out. When I was told the above I very nearly just said forget it and left. Likely would have never returned. But glad I went ahead and tried it. If in area I would return. I kind of preferred this over many of the chain places like papa johns, and Domino’s, etc.

Pizza is ok, better than some and worse than some. I have to admit my husband and I are snobs when it comes to wanting cheese with our pizza. Of course, they charge for that. No problem. The problem is when we paid for 3 and got zero, and the food was cold. We called, they gave us a credit. We called a different day to place an order. We mentioned the credit and they said your cheese is free. Well, doesn’t make up for the last time but ok no big deal. Food still wasn’t very warm but I was SHOCKED at the chicken fingers. They were really big and SOOO good! Shocking that they were better than the pizza. Overall it’s fairly priced and it’s not too bad.

We have ordered three nights in a row now because of The variety of food they have. Tonight we ordered the gyros and they are amazing. Chicken wings are spectacular and the pizza is delicious! The toppings are fresh and yummy. I just can’t get enough of this place especially with the new ownership.

Great customer service. All pizzas 2 for 1. Intersting varieties. We had the barbeque chicken pizza, which had a tangy flavor. Their supreme pizza was packed with fresh toppings. I preferred their hand tossed pizza over the thin crust. Worth trying out!

This place is absolutely god awful. I would rather eat a .99 totinos than this«pizza». I’ve never had nastier tasting pizza and sticks. I would rather eat school lunch pizza over this. I’m amazed that the board of health is allowing people to eat this. DOYOURSELF A FAVORANDSTAYASFARAWAYASPOSSIBLE!!!

Came here because the kids wanted to try it. Let me just say, I think we have a new favorite pizza place. All 4 kids loved it! Prices were completely reasonable and the food was delicious. I also have to say that the new owner was so nice! We will definitely be back!!!

Stopped in tonight and ordered a 1 topping pizza. Half sausage and half pepperoni. When I got the receipt it was more and the gal said«you wanted a 2 topping«. I explained that I actually wanted 1 topping split in halfs, but it was OK I would pay for 2 toppings on the entire pizza. When I opened it up, it was as I originally ordered half sausage and half pepperoni. On principle I called to let them know of the mistake. They responded«since you chose 2 different toppings, you were charged for a 2 topping pizza, sorry it’s weird but the owner makes us».

Ordered here for the first time tonight, had it delivered. Two pizzas arrived piping hot along with wonderful bread sticks! The pizzas were fabulous! Just as important as hot, fresh great food, it was fast! The owner was the delivery man! Talk about service! I’ll be going back for sure!

This place has NEWOWNERS, and it seems it has made a complete turn-around. I saw the bad reviews, and only went because I had a coupon. I met the new owner, and was impressed immediately. He was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. All pizzas are BUYONEGETONE, so although it was more pizza than we needed, I got two mediums. They came out soon, and they were hot and delicious! Not as thin-crusted as I imagined it would be, but the crust was CRISPY and doughy. PERFECT! I strongly recommend you try this place out now. Any reviews placed before the last month or two are from the old owners, and I could tell that the new owner is really working to get this place back where it should be. While I was there, he was moving a cooler(because it was too loud for the front of the house), sweeping, and answering phones, really working hard. I will definitely be going back, soon, to try the fried pickles!

I order a pizza yesterday to go for our son. My husband and son went to pick it up. They were greeted by then owner and he treated my disabled adult son with such compassion and curtesy. The pizza was great and the service was excellent. We will be ordering again soon. Thank You.

I really wanted to like this place, the owner was extremely nice and friendly and helpful! The service alone gives this place a bonus star. The pizza although is very bland and lacks a lot of flavor. It’s very reasonably priced and will get the job done. But all in all it did not taste very good. It’s a step up from say Little Caesars, you get a lot of food for your money but I will come back and try some sandwiches or something as he said those were really good. I wish this business all the best luck.

Stopped here to grab lunch after seeing a menu laying around in the office. Called in to get the Chicken Parm Sub Lunch Special(for $ 6.99 w/fries & a drink, it’s hard to beat). I was told it’d be 15 minutes, I walked in about 5 minutes after calling, and I got my food 2 minutes later. They weren’t busy, small shop, very clean, and the menu has a variety. All pluses. The new owner greeted me and was very kind. I wasn’t expecting anything over the top for $ 6.99. The sub was well made and the fries were hot and seasoned well, that’s all I can ask for. I’ll be back again, and I’d encourage anyone to try it out.

I got the«whole gyro» for about $ 9.(See pictures) I’m not really sure what that means, it was just a normal sized gyro that came with fries and a drink. The meat was not normal gyro meat, it was definitely frozen then cooked on the flat top. It wasn’t gross, just different. It came with tomatoes, grilled onions and some processed feta sauce. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but wasn’t gross either, just not a normal gyro. It was close and I thought I would give it a shot, since my normal gyro place Al Basha(amazing place) is closed on Sundays. I would probably not go back.

Yes, zero stars…(I couldn’t post this review with at least awarding one star, so there you have it :-/) My experience at this place was abysmal. I ordered three different items off of the menu(pizza, stromboli, panzerotti) and all three items were absolutely disgusting. The first thing I noticed is all of the ingredients are processed, very, very low quality and come in a cardboard box. I’m positive that the stromboli and panzerotti were frozen items as they were virtually identical in shape, size, down to the same shape of bread. R I can pretty much eat any type of pizza from the best, handmade pizza, down to a Totino’s Party Pizza. However, I can now say that I’ve actually found a pizza too gross, nasty and down right inedible to eat, here at the New York Pizza Garden in Fishers. The pizza was literally a hot mess of a pool of cheese, flavorless, stale crust and processed, low-grade pellets of something resembling meat/sausage. The sauce, again, flavorless and awful. I managed to eat half a slice of piece pizza before tossing the other half of the slice and the remainder of the pizza in the garbage where it belonged. Regarding the stromboli and panzerotti; both of my guests couldn’t bare the horror of eating more than a fourth of either due to the same pitfalls of questionable and tasteless ingredients. To top this nightmare like situation off, I was given a $ 50 gift certificate to to pick and spend the $ 50 at any eatery of my choice and the choices were limited to every restaurant that you’ve never seen or heard of, sans a few notable, decent places that were farther than I was willing to drive this particular evening. Upon ordering all of the food mentioned above I was told that my , «E-Gift Card» only meant that my food would be half off the normal purchase price. Be my guest and visit and read what their E-Gift redeemable for(it’s as good as cash). Anyway, I didn’t want to argue about it so I paid for half of this unforgivable mess of something resembling food with my hard earned money. Lastly, whatever you do, steer far and clear away from New York Pizza Garden in Fishers. This experience was easily the most atrocious and substandard of my entire restaurant going life.

The only reason I gave this place a two was because I have tried their calzones at a family gathering before and it was really good. Their pizza was just ok. So we decided to order take out. Gyro was OK, calzone wasn’t the one I ordered, I was extremely sad and disappointed. I called the restaurant and he tried to argue with me that it wasn’t what I ordered, even though I know it was, considering I was dreaming of spinach and mushrooms the night before! Granted the guy didn’t believe me, to my surprise they said they would deliver it! They never showed up, I waited by my front door hungry and excited for nothing! So irritated, will not go back! Their customer service sucks!

I’m a pizza fanatic! I was so excited to see New York Pizza Garden opening and couldn’t wait to try it. We ordered delivery and it was a bit on the pricey side but I thought«Hey, who cares if it is true New York style pizza’, right? This was the Absolute. Worst. Pizza. Ever. WOW! No flavor in the sauce or crust and we literally had grease from the pizza soaking THROUGH the bottom of the box. I wanted to like this. I really did. But I couldn’t. In fact, I hated it. We ordered 2 pizzas and ate a TOTAL of 3 slices(well, partial). These went in the trash and we grabbed a frozen pizza from the freezer, which was much better. When we called to order there was confusion on their end and they weren’t sure how to run our credit card.(That’s a new one!) There’s no way this place will survive unless they get a complete makeover/menu. Robert Irvine? Gordon Ramsay? ANYONE? Please save this place… or not. I don’t really care. There are so many other places to get quality pizza in Fishers. NEXT!

If I was still a 19 year old college student, this place would be the greatest restaurant in the world. The specials are fantastic, everything is no-nonsense, and you can’t beat the price. However, as one gets older, they begin to realize that there is more to life than eating the cheapest food possible. They venture out and begin to experience things like gourmet, artisan, and fine food and craft beer and develop an affinity for them. New York Pizza Garden is definitely not the place to go for a refined palate. You get what you pay for, which is great for some and bad for others.

Not that great. Food is very greasy and the ingredients are not very fresh. Better pizza place for New York style pizza is in Greenwood Indiana called Brozinni’s.

New York Pizza Garden recently opened in a small strip mall just off of IN-37 and 126th Street in Fishers. Oddly enough, it is in the same strip mall that houses Big Apple Bagels. New York Pizza Garden has a small eat-in area, and they offer pizza-by-the-slice for those who want to grab a quick bite. I would recommend carry-out or delivery as better options though. They don’t just do pizza either, and their garden apparently also includes wings, various starters, calzones, gyros, pasta, and even burgers. I sampled the garlic knots from their starter menu, and I was impressed with them. I think some restaurants’ garlic knots are too dry, but these were moist and flavorful. New York Pizza Garden has some good coupons on the back of their menu, and I took advantage of the one for a large cheese pizza for only $ 5.99. I felt that they were pretty generous with the quantity of cheese unlike some New York-style pizzerias, and I also found the cheese to pretty tasty. My one complaint would be that the pizza had a fairly large and doughy crust. It didn’t taste bad, but a smaller crust leaving more room for toppings or a dipping sauce for the crust would have made it better in my opinion. I didn’t have the highest expectations for New York Pizza Garden since it is just a small place in a little strip mall, but I would say that their food was actually slightly better than what I expected. I would not hesitate to order delivery or carry-out from them again if I want decent New York-style pizza without the New York-style price.
