Had 2 garage doors installed, good price, professional service. They were on time, no hidden charges, fast and friendly. Will recommend to others and the doors look great. On their Web site you choose your door style color and windows, I didn’t find this on others. Thanks again, job well done.

So impressed with this company! Came out on a Sunday. Within a couple hours of calling. Brett was technician and he did a great job of informing me of my options. I have ordered but installation will not happen until next week. If install is anything like service call I am sure I will be happy! Also loved website-very informative. Money well spent. Would love to see an app that I can take a pic of house and see the diff styles and colors of doors on my house.

BUYERBEWARE. I called this company to repair a broken coil spring on my garage door, and was told that there would be a $ 65 trip fee, waived with repair of the coil spring. Upon arriving at the house, the technicians pulled apart the garage door mechanisms and proceeded to tell me that all the parts were so worn, they would require a «complete rebuild of the hardware,» to the tune of $ 763. The technician implied that the door was dangerous and unsafe, that the cables, ball bearings, and shaft were so worn, they could«snap at any time,» thereby falling on my young children and crushing them. They also claimed that the door crashing down would cause damage to my garage and property«up to 4 – 5 feet on either side of the garage door opening.» I immediately sensed a scam. I told them that I could not afford an almost $ 800 repair, and said I would pay the trip fee and they could leave. Then began a series of «hard sells,» in which they kept offering to do less work, and replace less components, but still at a horribly inflated price. This did not make sense, of course, since they’d just claimed that the entire door mechanism was so worn out, it posed a safety hazard and imminent danger to life, limb, and property. I still refused to allow them to do any work, wrote a check for the trip fee, and thanked them for their time. They«called their manager,» who tried to pressure me into«at least letting us repair the spring.» When it finally became obvious that I was not going to allow them to perform any work, they then told me that the fee was $ 80, which included«a $ 15 fuel fee.» I told them that when I had scheduled the appointment, no one had said anything about a «fuel fee,» only a $ 65 «service charge.» After going around and around, the technician finally«called his manager to get permission to waive the fuel fee.» I gave him the check for $ 65. He then slapped a sticker on my unrepaired door(???) and told me to «call within the next couple weeks, we can come fix this for you and probably get the $ 65 service fee waived.» I was relieved to see these dishonest charlatans finally leave. In the end, I hired a different garage door repair company, who came within an hour and confirmed that the majority of the hardware which Precision Door Service claimed was in imminent danger of failing was actually perfectly fine. I got the springs, cables, and rollers replaced for a total of $ 275, parts AND labor. There is no doubt in my mind that, had I fallen for the Precision Door Service scam, the ‘charges’ would have continued to pile up to the tune of close to $ 1000. My recent experience leads me to believe this is an extremely dishonest company. Buyer beware. Do not even call them for a quote, it is not worth the wast of time, hassle, or insult to the consumer’s intelligence. A note that, with the second company which I hired, and did the repair, it took one gentleman to do the entire repair himself. The Precision Door Service sent two beefy technicians to my home, and during the hard sell, one of them was giving the pitch, while the other one sidled up behind me. I felt as though this was a not-so-subtle attempt at intimidation. DONOTHIRETHISCOMPANY.

Garage door broke a spring on New Year’s Eve. Called and got same day service. They charge $ 80 for the call and just for parts after that. Yes, the part markup is probably really high, but it would most likely be the same for parts & labor elsewhere.(Plus, service on anything like that is not cheap.) Our service tech, Eric, was really friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. He was late to the appointed time, but he called in advance to let us know! He pointed out existing defects in our current system that we would not have known about otherwise. He rebuilt the mechanical parts of our garage door in less than an hour, and we were on our way to our NYE party! Would recommend.
