2 powerpoints printed onsite-36 pages each in color. $ 42! Ouch! 2 of these trips will pay for a new printer!

Customer service is so so. They are pretty much a one stop shop for office goods. I do find their prices(on things like calendars, planners, etc) to be ridiculously expensive. I subsequently purchase things like that other places where there are better deals(think Used Book Store, Sam’s, Barnes and Nobles) I did find some nice things at the back on their clearance counter, don’t forget to look there!

Clean store and fast service. It seemed like any other Staples location.

Recently was in the market for a new office chair and Staples offers a $ 9.99 service to put it together. SOLD! Since you have to put together virtually everything, this service sold me on it’s own even though I got a fantastic chair I had been eyeballing on sale for nearly half off. Made the purchase and went out to get a tea while they put it together. Get a call on the old cell, go pick it up and home to enjoy. The only complaint I have, and this is with all office stores, is the price gouging on chair mats. Costco offers chair mats for $ 20 yet the same thing is $ 60 at Staples, OfficeMax, etc. Unfortunately, Costo only offers one type so I was stuck setting fire to three $ 20 bills to get the one I needed at Staples.

My job requires that I purchase supplies for a lot of people. Our corporate pricing and the convenient location makes it easy for me to find what I need and get out in no time. Their onsite printing is convenient if you need something turned around quickly. Instead of renewing their lease, Staples moved across the street into the Meijer parking lot, next to Kohl’s. I like the bright new location and find myself greeted each time I’m there. I can generally find what I need in one trip, but in the event it’s not in store, most items can be purchased online & delivered($ 50+ = Free shipping). During the holidays, they carry a variety of gift cards and cute stocking stuffers that won’t get regifted a the annual white elephant exchange(don’t forget your teachers!). Think K– cups, headphones, desk accessories.

This staples is new. It even smells new. The staff is courteous and helpful. They have post-it flip charts for $ 33 which seems like a lot but hotels charge $ 50 for the same product. The thing that keeps me away from all office stores(Staples and Office Max to be specific) is the tortuously tortoises-like pace of the check out. This usually brings the whole experience to the same level as having my teeth cleaned.
