I visited this spot the first weekend of the year and I was disappointed with the food, the service and the atmosphere. Let’s get to the point — the wings were horrible. The wings were too oily, no sauce, and when you could taste the sauce, the sauce was horrible. I ordered teriyaki and the sauce was very salty and barely sweet. Most of the wings were bare with only a drip of sauce. Lastly, the wings are huge, but they’re not spending enough time draining the chicken after it comes out the fryer. End result — oily wings. Our waitress repeatedly got our order wrong and brought out the wrong. After so many errors I just ate what she brought me. For whatever reason, it was ice cold in the restaurant. Eating wings while wearing your winter coat isn’t fun.

I consider myself a chicken wing connoisseur, and I always like to try out the local spots to see what they have to offer. I ordered the garlic parmesan and the TNT wings(2nd hottest they offer) the first time I went there. The wings themselves are ok. Size is good, and crispiness was ok as well. The sauce was a different story. The garlic parm were not garlic-y at all. They were bathed in some type of buttery oil substance, and then drowned in a white sauce(which I am assuming was a parm cream sauce). The flavor was very mild. Way too greasy. I’ve had better wings from Wing Stop(Pizza Hut). The TNT wings were supposed to be super hot. Really, the sauce was just some pepper based sauce — it did not have a buffalo flavor at all. It had a little heat, but if it’s the 3rd hottest sauce out of 19 flavors, it should be a face melter. I ate about 15 of them without even taking a sip of water. Medium heat at best. Worst part is that the wings were not coated in either sauce. They just put them in a basket and then dump it on top of them. So, the bottom half of the wings were not sauced at all. Proper wings should be tossed in the sauce so they are evenly coated. I went back tonight because my wife and I had a craving for a big pile of greasy nachos. We ordered the«Revenge of the Ultimate Nachos» to go, and added buffalo chicken. Per the menu these nachos are the«ultimate nachos» plus a topping(the buffalo chicken). They were supposed to include chili and queso sauce per the menu. I ordered it to-go so I did not check them. Once I got home I saw there was no chili or queso sauce. I called and the person who answered told me that«the buffalo chicken nachos did not include either». Ok, well the menu says otherwise! I’m no idiot — I can read. Check it for yourself and see. There are a million places in the city to get greasy american fare(nachos, burgers, wings, etc) — if you’re craving this type of food, I’d advise you go elsewhere. It is mediocre at best.

Great wings and friendly, attentive service. Tried two sauces… one for adults and one for the kids. Both were tasty. Bone in wings much larger than accustomed to getting from the big chain with the terrible service standard. Shrimp and loaded fries good but not spectacular. Wings are the draw here and we will be back.

So over BW’s bad service, bad beer menu and hit or miss wings. We were pleasantly surprised here. We thought the boneless wings were great, not too much breading as others have previously stated. Local beer options are a plus. Great service, plenty of TVs for watching games. We will be back. Great for kids

Good cold beer in tall mugs, go on shrimp night! Their sauces are very good especially their spicy honey mustard! Definitely check it out

The wings are OK. The pretzel bites are excellent. The wings are just plain deep fried and drowned in a copious amount of sauce. You will feel like you need to shower after eating them and you will go through a lot of paper towels and wet wipes. They are terribly understaffed. I went with a friend on Saturday afternoon and our service was slow. It wasn’t the server’s fault though. She was running the bar and waiting tables and getting drinks for people in the main dining room as well as the bar. I might go back, but not for wings — they are selling sauce, not wings.

This place is horrible!!! The wings are clearly cooked ahead and reheated for your order. They are VERY soggy. They are not cleaned well or good quality. GROSS! The french fries are soggy as well. If wings are part of your restaurant name you would think the restaurant would at least know how to do that well. I would avoid this place and go to BDubs.

I don’t come to Wings Etc. for the atmosphere; let’s face it, sports bars aren’t my thing, and I’m generally into All Things Local. I come to Wings Etc. because when I want bone-in chicken wings buffalo-style, Wings Etc. always comes through for me. I am a picky chicken wing-eater, and I’m not afraid to admit it. The menu is the same at all locations across the board. They have your standard fried appetizers, burgers, beer and, of course, wings. I tend to devote Mondays to Wings Etc. as traditional and boneless wings are only $ 0.59/ea.(Please note, however, that due to this special, you will not receive celery and blue cheese or ranch will be extra. Double note that their blue cheese was basically water when I tried it last. MAJOR disappoint.) I enjoy this location because on the rare occasion that I AM watching a game with friends, it’s not crowded. I can enjoy my food and see and hear what’s taking place on one of the many flat screens. I have to admit that the layout of the space doesn’t make much sense. Odd angles, a stacked partition dividing the bar and larger dining area, and the POS system is directly in front of the bathrooms. This means that when there is more than one server back there(which there generally is), the water closet is blocked. Not really the best time to have someone standing in your way. Over all, a clean, well-priced place to get a decent meal(from a chain!). The service isn’t outstanding, but I certainly wouldn’t call it poor. I’ll probably be stopping in once or twice per month.

We stopped in Saturday night for dinner, I was expecting it to be packed as it’s a new place but there were plenty of open tables and we were seated immediately. We tried the pretzel dippers(YUM), a half basket of loaded fries(just ok) and wings. Hubby had bone in wings which were huge and I had boneless. While good, I think we will probably stick to BDubs for their sauces. We tried a variety before ordering and they were just ok, nothing mind-blowing. Probably a cool place for beers and a game though!

Newly opened location offers a decent beer menu of drafts and bottles. Daily specials are featured. Breadsticks are very good with cheese sauce. All staff were engaging and Meka at the bar is knowledgeable and efficient in addition to being pleasant. Manager, Ollie, was helpful in scheduling a group of 20 for a B’day party next week. It is now next week. Our waitress Sierra, and a different Manager were very accommodating, moving tables into a ‘T’ at our request. Domestic draft pitchers on special at a great price. I opted for the 34 oz stout. Adults and kids alike were satisfied. A small game room occupied the 7 — 12 y/o set. The bone in wings were excellent. I stuck with the ‘hot’ Buffalo sauce as it’s the original used at Anchor Bar, the ‘Mecca’ for wings in Buffalo, NY where the Buffalo hot wing originated in ’69 or ’70. I visited there last weekend. Other sauce versions or heat levels use butter blended with pepper to add heat but mess up, grease up, the experience. Similarly, in my view, BBQ and Asian sauces have no place in Buffalo Wingdom. The boneless wings which were on special had too much breading(True Buffalo wings have no breading). Those who tried those, myself included, commented on the ‘too much breading’ factor. All wings are offered with the traditional bleu cheese dressing as a dipping sauce as well as celery sticks. Ranch can be substituted for the mold intolerant. Dinner salad came with ingredients ‘sectored’ rather than blended. More a surprise than dissatisfier. Good cheesy fries. Wraps and sandwiches got okay reviews. I got the hottest sauce on the side in the event that the ‘hot’ was not hot enough for me. By report, this sauce adds some level of habanero and ghost pepper to the Frank’s base. I thought it also came across a bit greasy but. not off the chart hot. To Sierra’s horror, I drank it to demonstrate its lack of overpowering stealth mode hotness. I’ll be back for the true unbreaded, unbuttered, bone-in Buffalo wings regularly, though I will try for ‘The Wall’ — by consuming 16 bone-in wings with this ‘hottest’ sauce(and nothing else to eat or drink). I know, it’s a macho, ‘U Can Do Eet’ thing… and, or, but… okay I can’t justify or rationalize that. It’s just going to be a Nike moment.

3rd time here and not disappointed yet, much prefer the wings here to B dubs. I had traditional wings and went with the medium sauce, just the right heat for me. My husband tried the buffalo shrimp and had to get an additional order because he liked them so much. Reasonably priced, clean, attentive staff, Not your fathers root beer, and good food. Win

Fried green beans were great! They had good ranch. We had hot buffalo and some kind of Thai chili spice wings. Both were good. Wings were very crispy! Sauces were just normal. Neither I tried wowed me, but were good. Best part was the brownie bites at the end! SODELICIOUS. they look basic, but are so melty on the inside. Patrick was our waiter and very friendly. Only downfall was the queso and chips we ordered. Queso was that microwaved kind. Thick and plastic tasting. At the end of our meal(after trying the queso once) we told Patrick we didn’t like the queso. It was still full to the brim and when we asked to take it off the check, the manager only took 2 $ off. The queso was 6.49. We asked to talk to the manager and he did not make it easy. It was our first trip to wings etc and I was sure we would return until meeting this manager. He made it seem like we were trying to scam them. He also suggested asking to sample anything in the future to avoid this. As if this microwaved queso was a big loss to them! Just seemed silly. Just be nice to your customers and they will come back! Was being confrontational and unwilling to gracefully assist a first time customer worth the most likely less than 50cents it cost to comp my queso? All said and done, get the fried green beans and brownie bites!

So I had to downgrade my rating from 5 star to a 3 star. The wings were saucy, but where not as hot or perfectly fried like before. They also were not as clean as before. There was a lot of veins and soft fat on the wings. They should have been cleaned a lot better before frying. The waitress was training, and I expected the serve to better. The trainee should have been running drinks and checking on tables drinks. We got only one refill but should have had a couple. Then the trainee who dropped off the refill we had to flag down took the straw and didn’t leave one. I ordered a drink from the bar, and it was drinkable. Educating myself on shows like bar rescue teaches me to expect better serve and drinks. My husband watched her make it, and she never tasted knowing that she never made the drink. They carry the Pinnacle line but dont have any of their drink specials. We were so excited for Wings Etc to open and the first time we went there. But now no so much…
