They have one of the best cakes in town. They are quite expensive but trust me they are really good. Personally I like the Paesano’s Bakery Inc best.

Excellent selection of Italian cookies, baked goods and pastries. Love that they make Sfogliatelle daily! Grabbed one, along with a quaresamali, a mini canoli and a few pignoli cookies. All were excellent and prices reasonable. Will be back!

There aren’t many good bakeries in the area, and this one has always been hit or miss for us. Some of their items are very good while others have been either stale or just plain bad. My mom loves one of the pastries they sell. We had a very bad birthday cake there years ago, that tasted sour and awful. Once, we got a pumpernickel loaf that looked like wheat bread, was tasteless, and was so dry that it crumbled when we cut it. It’s one of those places you continue to go to because it isn’t always bad and there are no other options. This year we ordered a loaf of bread. Instead of making one loaf, they made two small skinny loaves. They were too thin and were so dry because of it. Very disappointing. They said it was a mistake that they cooked two, but still charged us full price. Sorry but I would offer a discount if I made an error and still sold it to my customers. We bought an Easter cookie assortment from them, and they were the worst cookies we’ve ever tasted. Hard, stale, and lousy flavor. I’ve heard that many bakeries now order wholesale factory cookies instead of baking their own. Well, these looked and tasted like factory line cookies. I did some research and found a company which supplies these type of cookies in bulk. They had an Easter cookie that looked exactly like the ones in our basket of cookies, same shape, decorations, colors. Everything. There was a recall on those cookies which made me wonder IF we’d eaten the same ones. I also found a Christmas star cookie on their site that looked EXACTLY like the star cookies in our Easter assortment. It leads me to believe they put leftover Christmas cookies in the Easter assortments. If you want cookies but are unable to bake them yourself, buy them in the supermarket instead. They are cheaper and you get the same or better quality than this. These are worse than name brand factory cookies like Keebler. If the bakery does make them, they need to find new recipes, and use real butter and sugar instead of the fake chemicals in these.

Best bakery in the area! Friendly people who work there. They make delicious cakes to order and their pastries are always fresh! Also on holidays they have stock of items when you need to pick up goodies at the last minute.

I bought 24 cupcakes for my brother‘s birthday and they were so bad that everyone in the school got sick. The cupcakes were dry and the cannoli was spoiled I told her I wanted fudge icing on the cupcakes and she gave me white icing on all of them nothing was right the strawberry filled cupcake was filled with shortening frosting instead of buttercream which I asked her, if they used real butter and she said yes, I asked for lemon curd in the cupcakes she gave me some artificial le’m on tasting mousse. I asked Debbie if I could return the cupcakes she say she had, taken some home and they were good and that she wasn‘t foing to give me my money back for a good product. The place is very dirty in there also I should never have went there now I am out of $ 40 the owner Debbie should be ashamed of herself!

One of the best bakeries around. Their pastries and breads are fantastic! All our holidays include a stop at Paesanos.

Called all over Fishkill area for someone that could deliver a birthday cake same day. Paesanos was the ONLY place to come through for me and they didnt even charge an arm and a leg for the service! I’ve had their sweets before they are a a great local bakery as good as any you might find in the city. Excellent customer service. Thanks a million!

Living within walking distance of Paesano’s is both a blessing and a curse! Amazing for my tastebuds and bad for my waistline… but when is the food tastes this good, who really cares? :-) This bakery is not only my morning coffee and treats, but also the only place we go for tasty desserts, pastries, and the freshest bread and bagels. The prices are sinfully low and the owners are wonderful — genuinely nice people who make you feel like family. Try their pies and tarts — yum!!! The best bakery in the Hudson Valley!

We stopped in today at Paesano’s for my husband’s favorite sfogliatelle. He’s so unadventurous getting the same thing all the time so I decided to actually get a pastry since I take so many pictures of them but rarely indulge. I had to try something new that I have never had before, no not Red Velvet, but a St. Joseph’s Cake. Apparently it was just La Festa di San Giuseppe( ) and he is the patron saint of fathers not aspirin. Perhaps he should be the Patron Saint of Fat Bottomed Gals, boy is that tasty!!! I got the cannoli filled one as opposed to the custard. Life truly is sweeter with the proverbial cherry on top.

This bakery may not look like much but it’s truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in the old A&P plaza off Rt.52 in Fishkill, it’s easy to miss. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl and one thing has remained a constant… the pastries and cookies are TODIEFOR. The prices are extremely reasonable and the selection is great. They have cakes, cheesecakes, bread, cookies, and pastries of all types. However, considering the bakery is small, they don’t always have everything every day. I’m a huge fan of rainbow layer cookies and I’ve tried them in bakeries across the hudson valley. Hands down, 1000%, the rainbow layer cookies at Paesano’s are the absolute best. The almond flavor is spectacular and the cake layers are moist and perfect. Every time I bring a box of them to a friend’s house they are hooked. One friend says I can’t come over unless I bring them :) So if you’re in the market for an amazing bakery in the Fishkill area, definitly try this hidden gem. It might be off the beaten path a bit but it’s well worth it!!!
