If ever in the area, don’t pass this place up without stopping by. We’re from Texas and had to order the black and white cookie #Seinfeld…It was great! In fact, we came back had breakfast next day and bought 3 more black and white cookies as gifts for friends back home… Sad to say none made it back :/yep. we ate them all. Bagels are delicious! This was a wonderful New York experience and we’ll always come back when in town. Great customer service. we loved the accents! Lots of locals and overall charming mom and pop shop.

Stick to the bagels. I got s philly cheese steak sandwich… it was overcooked leathery steak, raw onions(yuck) and big slices of highlighter orange American cheese. I definitely felt far from Philly.

Really, really love this place. All their food is insanely good and the service is usually wonderful, however there is one employee, an older woman who is often rude and seems exhausted/annoyed that you are there. I wouldn’t have even mentioned her in this review if it wasn’t for this one instance: I ordered a bagel with cream cheese(shouldn’t be an unusual request in a place called«The Bagel Shoppe») and she made some kind of obvious inside joke with another employee by asking me with a smirk if I wanted a knife to scrape off the cream cheese and save it for later… She laughed really loudly looking at her coworker. It was very awkward, unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. If she didn’t work there the place would honestly be perfect.

Problem: early afternoon gym trip, but no food all day to provide any energy for a workout. Solution: head into this place for a quick bite, then shoot over to Golds Gym in the same parking lot. Bigger problem: eat too much, go into a food coma and skip the gym. This is a great little bagel/sandwich shop to stop in anytime of the day for a meal to go or to sit down and enjoy. Plenty of fantastic sandwich options and always served on nice fresh bread(hero, rolls, etc). This past week I enjoyed a «New Yorker» on a hero — hot pastrami served with Russian dressing and coleslaw. The sandwich was ready within minutes and full of meat(hate when they go light on the main ingredient). Their coleslaw was a bit light on the creamy side, but mixed with the Russian dressing it wasn’t so bad. Overall a fantastic meal and very filling Most sandwiches on a hero fall within the $ 6-$ 8 range and are served with a side of coleslaw or potato salad. They have specials that are updated on their site daily. I’ve yet to try a bagel there but some of the reviews on here make me optimistic that I’ll enjoy it. I’ve had the hankering for a good bacon egg and cheese sandwich so maybe I’ll stop back in for one real soon.

This place got me sick. Their jalapeño cream cheese was pink and when I asked them about the color they said it was normal and gave me an attitude. I later called to inform them that their cream cheese got me sick, but their manager was unavailable. So I just received the same nasty attitude a second time. Clearly poor customer service and food.

While visiting the Fishkill/Beacon area, we ate breakfast here and also took away sandwiches and pastry for lunch. What delicious fare! And so well-priced. Highly recommended.

This was very bad. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. What I got was dry, unseasoned cold cut chewy/fatty roast beef cold cuts, microwaved and served on a roll. It was not even edible. I also ordered a bagel with butter, which was Ok(nothing special) but absolutely saturated with butter(they must’ve used an entire stick on one bagel). We will not go back. For a good bagel place in Fishkill, try Suzy’s in the Shoprite plaza. For a good deli, try Cibo on main street.

I thought the bagels here were fine. They have tons of variety which is nice. We went with plain, everything, and cinnamon raisin… they weren’t the chewiest bagels I’ve ever had, but definitely not the worst either.

Love this place. Speedy service, even if the line is long, the food is usually done in less than 10 minutes. The workers are pleasant and so is the crowd. Every time I come in and there is a crowd, they’re very inviting and talkative. Highly recommended, sandwiches are great.

The Bagels are the best in the area. The staff is efficient. In addition, cold cuts, bread, soups, and desserts are delicious. It’s rare to see an establishment that cooks all their food on premisis. In addition, the catering menu is good. I ordered a Turkey at Thanksgiving and it was great. I highly recommend it.

So many kinds of bagels and baked goods. Sandwich was soso. I ordered my sandwich and it was not even heat up well. Grilled Chicken was so cold inside. Green peppers are still raw. There are tons of people, so had to be very patient while waiting. I guess, they were rushed to get my food done. My friend had a breakfast sandwich and she liked it. Will go back, and hopefully they can heat up my food thoroughly next time

Used to come here a lot when my boys were little and it was always a great place. Joe knew us all by name and was always such a great friendly guy. Everyone who lived in the area knew and loved this bagel shop! I went in today with my son after not having been there in about 8 years and was so pleased to see the same familiar face and the same great food that we were used to. Joe hasn’t changed and still runs a great bagel shop. Although he didn’t recognize us, we saw the same friendly service we were used to and saw the place filled with faithful regulars and had a great lunch!

Best bagels around! The service is too notch and. I love the small town feel and Joe and his crew keep it alive. They greet you hello by name and thank you for coming in. The actually appreciate your business. I highly recommend you try this place once and then you’ll be hooked like me.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and subs at affordable prices make this small strip mall deli worth a detour. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Prices are very affordable for huge sandwiches. My wild west sandwich was heaping with roast beef and melted cheese. Don’t let the façade scare you away, this is a hidden treasure in Fishkill. Follow the locals.

Joe the owner is a nice guy and the food is generally good to very good. The only blemishes are the sometimes long waits and spotty service(e.g., one woman regularly overcharges).

I didn’t have bagel so can’t commend on that, I had sandwich and breakfast, but breakfast sandwich was not so hot… egg wasn’t mixed well and way too much cheeze cover up going on. With that said, my lunch(Italian sub) was awesome, perfetly executed. So I guess eat bagle for breakfast, and have subs for lunch. Maybe it was my fault to order egg sandwitch at bagle place…

Was not impressed with this place at all. The lady at the counter did not toast our bagels and got half of the items we ordered completely wrong. I would have complained but we were up here for Thanksgiving and I did not want to make anything bad on our trip. The bagel was good though even though it wasn’t toasted. The selection was not as good as I thought it would be though.
