I love this place. Great for a bunch of different things, shopping, grabbing a sandwich, getting some locally made foods, or shopping in the greenhouse. Totally smitten with this place.

Best sandwiches around and we’ve looked. We love this place, it’s always a treat for us.

Went for lunch here today. The food was delicious minus the fact that the gluten-free bread was a little crumbly and wasn’t substantial for a sandwich. The chicken sandwich was amazing. Also really enjoyed being able to sit by the water. Beautiful!

Ok, this placed used to be a 5-star and used to be my «happy place» but sadly this business seems to be lacking some love lately aka going-down-hill. Don’t know if they are having family issues, or whatever but its becoming apparent that things are just not the same. For example, the greenhouse where you can sit and eat is very dirty, unswept floors, cobwebs, dusty merchandise, old vines growing around, dusty fan. its such a cool idea to have tables and chairs out in the greenhouse that its a shame that something as simple as cleaning might detract customers. Also, outside you can eat by the waterfall which is great in the Summertime but the tables and benches are falling apart! So sad. Just screams«We don’t care anymore!» People are not too friendly here either, especially the older male(i assume the owner). I see he had been trying to make an attempt to be nice to me as I think he remembers me mumbling«what an asshole» one day under my breath but there’s just been a sad and unfriendly vibe this past 1 – 2 years. Perhaps family woes? Either way its a shame because they have a lot of potential. Food: really great sandwiches, soups, pasta salads and awesome coffee selection too. Try the Chocolate Macadamia Nut coffee by Piece Bros-amazing. Big chips selection, fresh baked pies, cookies. And I see now they are offering smoothies but I haven’t tried them yet. Nice specialty items, fun to look around(though the unfriendly vibe can make your browsing short lived), cool plants and farm stand vegetables(though they are no organic). extensive drink selection. chocolates. And I believe they have a specialty wine and beer selection too We still go back once in the while because the sandwiches are good and its a nostalgic place for us. Tips for management: 1) make an attempt to be friendly to customers(it wont kill you); 2) cleanup that green house and decorate it like you used to. 3) Repair the tables and chairs outside 4) Show that you CARE and have some pride! Spread a more positive vibe! Play some music, fix family drama, etc.

If you’re looking for a place to get a good sub or wrap this is the place to go! The quality is unbeatable! Plus it has a whole store, a little earthy crunchy but I loved it. They also sell beer and wine and even homemade dinner entrees that are packaged for you to make or reheat at home, they really have a little of everything.

A hidden gem in Fitchburg. I didn’t see waterfront seating as the pictures show, but it’s super cute inside. Local farm store feel. Yummy sandwiches too.

Confusing set up for ordering and paying for meals. Some staff was helpful while others were annoyed we were asking questions. The potato salad was incredibly bland. The panini I got was OK… best thing about it was the fresh mozzarella that was delicious. Seating situation is kind of awkward. We did get a free cookie which was delicious. Kind of disappointed because we went here because all our friends rave about this place.

On our way to Mill 3 Farmstand for lunch before heading to Great Wolf Lodge. Will reserve my rating for after our visit BUT I wanted to say they are OPEN on Sunday’s! Place was really cute. And on a warm day you could picnic by the river. We ate our YUMMY sandwiches in their indoor greenhouse/gift shop. My husband and I had the chicken salad. Very good. Breads were delicious and there were many choices. A great spot!

We simply don’t get here often enough. Our favorite thing about Mill No. 3 is their deli sandwich selection. Their sandwiches are named for local places/things(Coggshall, Cleghorn, etc.) which is a cute touch. My fave is the South Side: Grilled chicken, roasted veggies, Monterey jack cheese and lemon dill mayo. Mmmmmmm good! They are a farmstand(as the name mentions) so they have fresh produce, baked goods, charming outdoor decorations, locally produced specialty foods, and more. Last time we were here we grabbed a picnic table near the river and enjoyed the view. A hidden jewel(but not so hidden.)

It could be dead of winter, but sitting in their Greenhouse, you would never know. Great place to go for lunch, the sandwiches are huge and very reasonably priced. I hate tuna fish sandwiches… except at Mill 3, I don’t know what they do to, but it is the only place I will ever get a tuna fish sandwich. I also go there for cute little gifts during the holidays and they some interesting wines and beer.

I live minutes from this quaint café/store. The food is always wonderful. I am a teacher, and on half days, we all rush to this location for an amazing lunch. Tonight, I arrived five minutes before closing time. I was reluctant to order a sandwich, but the friendly and diligent staff convinced me, I had a delicious chicken salad and granny apple wrap. What a great place to eat.

LOVE Mill #3. Great sandwiches, friendly staff. They have really cute random gifts and household decorations, but also local food and then other natural food options. With the picnic tables out back you can take your lunch out and sit by the water dam on a nice day and enjoy the view. I would recommend you check it out, been going here for 7+ years!

A great place to stop for lunch. The sandwiches are made with fresh baked breads and the ingredients are top notch. I believe that meats a Boar Head Meats. The sandwiches are very tasty. There is a general store with groceries, baked goods and hand made and locally made foods and crafts. The green house is a great place to eat lunch in the winter. In the spring and summer there are table outside near the river near the water fall. Great place to buy unique gifts and flowers in spring and summer. A must when visiting or driving through Fitchburg.

This is a great place to stop for a quick sandwich or something to take home for dinner. It’s a lot of fun to shop here on a lazy weekend afternoon too. They offer some hard to find items and some local stuff too. Just beware that they’re not that friendly. I’ve been here several times but won’t be back as there’s no reason to be mean to customers.

So New England and so quaint and wonderful. We went there for an early afternoon lunch in April. We had delicious homemade sandwiches in the greenhouse. The sandwiches were great as were all the ingredients used. After we ate, we enjoyed toiling around the shop looking at the local products and planning out next excursion out to Mill No 3 Farmstand! Lovely place, highly recommend for a nice lunch/brunch.
