Pros: My Paella was fine, my wife’s steak was quite good. Cons: My wife ordered her steak medium, instead, what the waitress brought to the table was a bloody mess. This must happen a lot, we saw another table send their steak back. — And what’s with waitresses getting huffy and insulted when you send something back to the kitchen? Seriously., just cook it a bit more and trot it back out and we’re all good. No need to get upset… Another problem: The music was overwhelming. hard to talk at your table without shouting. The guitarist was excellent but way too loud. Last issue: woefully short on waitstaff: Had to flag them down to get silverware(we were missing a set) another glass of beer. And one weird thing: The waiter took our order and then 5 minutes later the waitress came and took our order again??? — No big deal, just a little strange. The food is quite good and deserving of at least 4 stars. But the rest of the experience detracted from the overall score. Hence 3 stars.

Came for Valentine’s Day, a later reservation in the evening. The food was great. My husband(a Euro traveller) had the Seafood Rice. He raved that it was just like Spain. Family with us had the Paella and NY Strip. Large portions but well executed!!! Will be back :)

Family run, super friendly environment. I had the filet mignon with scallop He had the grilled octopus with peppers and garlic shrimp. Bread was hot and delicious Food was deliciously prepared and great presentation. Filet melted in your mouth Shrimp had nice spicy bite to it and was perfectly cooked Good flavors Great service by Alexis Enjoyed everything very much Came back for lunch and everything was amazing. We had a group of 9 and sat outside. Highly recommend the ribs and the rice w/red beans Also tried the chicken and the Chicken was also delicious Everything is fresh and made to order

Per another person’s review, we decided to get a pitcher of Sangria– it was so good we had to order a second pitcher! :-) As far as dinner, we had 4 great meals! And even though at first we thought the prices were a little pricey, we were completely surprised at how large the servings were– we all brought food home with us as they serve platter sized plates of food! Totally worth it!

I very much enjoyed my dinner at Porto at the Sea. Service was friendly & very helpful. Food was excellent & very filling. Presentation was awesome. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dinner & drinks. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for something a little different. When we left on Friday night the place was packed.

Two couples of us went to Porto at the Sea for the first time. We forgot to take photographs of our meals, but they were as nicely presented as those published by the restaurant. I had the rack of lamb with roasted potatoes and veggies; two of us had the seafood rice(different from paella); and one of us had the chicken carbonara pasta. As well, each couple split a Caesar salad, but no one saved room for dessert. Best of all, each dish’s taste was superb! Those who had wine with dinner reported that the«house» Cab and Pinot Noir were«nice». We will certainly be back, but next time, we’ll go during the week, as Friday night was full by 7PM. Pretty good for a restaurant only open for four weeks! The food was certainly compatible with their white tablecloth’s!
