Well… the food is amazing and the first time we went there we had a great experience. The next time we went in, they were burning incense which I could careless for and unfortunately my wife is allergic to it. I called today to ask if they are burning incense because my wife can’t eat there if they are. They said they could seat us on the other end of the restaurant. I told them that isn’t helpful and they replied with«We burn it everyday.» Well, I guess we’ll have to go elsewhere from now on.

Driving through Flagstaff and saw a sign for Phở! Say what?! Been in AZ for 4 days now and had to get my Vietnamese fixed on. Silly that I go into phở restaurants but rarely ever order phở. So… ordered myself ginger chicken with white rice. Authentic Vietnamese dish and boy was it delicious! The sauce had a perfect amount of ginger taste that wasn’t overwhelming. Complimented the rice very well. I literally devoured the whole meal to myself as you can see from my photo ;) The 4 stars is because bf ordered the chicken phở and the broth was sweet. We’re both not fans of sweet phở broth or too much of the star anise flavoring. Very clean quaint restaurant. Great service and would recommend their rice plates!

The atmosphere is lovely and service good. The food seems fresh and tasted good. The spring rolls came with turkey meat or something in them? Which I didn’t enjoy. And the phở broth tasted too sweet to me. But overall, it’s a really good place to get Vietnamese food.

I wouldn’t know what the food is like. I was with a party of 4 and while they got their main dish(all at different times), I just sat here with nothing. The waiter seemed a little slow to comprehend things, as he seemed rather confused when I brought up the fact I never got my food. We ordered spring and egg rolls and it took 20 minutes to get the egg rolls, which was brought out with the incorrect sauce. Not sure where the spring rolls went, as they never showed up. We NEVER received an apology. What makes it all the more irritating is that the owner was sitting a table down from us the entire time. The best part was that this all happened while there was only 1 other table with customers. Thanks for ruining my wife’s birthday dinner.

Delicious phở and it really hit the spot. The taste of the broth wasn’t as flavorful as a few spots I frequent in Phoenix, but the service was so friendly and food was fresh.

Soup is amazing — hot with fresh veggies, basil, cilantro and mint. Loved the daikon radish. Atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. I will come again.

How good is this place! Perfect comfort food after a day of skiing. Phở were superb($ 9) and the curry chicken was delicious(thanks for the recommendation on Unilocal). On par with my favorite restaurants in Irvine and Fountain Valley(little Saigon district) in SoCal.

1) service was fast and friendly. We ordered take out and were served tea while we waited. And the restaurant was CLEAN, open-feeling, and nicely decorated while still being casual. 2) authentic: my husband spent four years in Vietnam during the war, and he conversed with one of the owners, who spoke only Vietnamese. Her granddaughter who waited on us was so friendly. Hubby has had Vietnamese all over the world, from Vietnam to DC, and said this food was at the top of his list. 3) the food: excellent: the fresh spring rolls were soft, clearly just-made. The hoisin sauce that came with them made me forget all about the way I’ve had them at other restaurants, with peanut sauce. 4) the Shrimp phở was exactly the way it should be: lots of flavor, huge portion(so I got two meals out of one order), fresh shrimp, not the dehydrated kinds I’ve had in other places. Flagstaff is lucky to have this place and I hope more patronize it.

It was decent, but 13 $ for phở, really Flagstaff? Why so much? The most I ever, I mean ever paid for phở in any state of our union was 8 $. So 13 is a shock to the system. Way too much! I’ll make my own, thanks! Ready to move!

Considering that we are in Flagstaff and the food is good but I have had better, this place is definitely one of my favorites here in town. I like my phở with extra tendons and another phở restaurant near by will not accommodate my request but MPM Phở will gladly do that for me. They always have friendly service and are quick and efficient whenever I dine there. Basically, if you want some pretty good phở then this place is definitely one of the best restaurants to get that.

SOOOGOOD! This hit the spot! I’ve been looking for good phở for the longest time. Employees were knowledgeable, and nice and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving phở in the area. Well done!

When one orders fried crab cheese wontons you expect Crab and cream cheese to be present. I was only given three greasy and rubbery pieces of old dough. Ordered a noodle bowl & received soup. Then was blamed for not ordering the right thing!

Pleasantly surprised by MPM Phở. I’m accustomed to getting my Vietnamese fix someplace else, because Flagstaff options have not been great. First impression – I agree with the other reviewers that said the place was very clean. Major plus, considering the other phở place on this side of town! My experience(twice) with the service staff was very positive – friendly and helpful. Most important, though, the food. Phở broth had good flavor and clarity. Garnishes are a little skimpy at lunch, but take out portions were generous. Spring rolls were well formed and a good balance. Stir fried beef with vegetables I could have skipped, but that was my back up dish in case my son didn’t like the phở. Luckily, I have created a new phở fan in my son, so we won’t have to order the rice dish again. Definitely the best option for Vietnamese in Flagstaff.

Phở are too darn expensive! $ 11 and doesn’t have much meat in it. Soup itself taste like boiled water. It’s missing some phở flavor. Hoisin and Sriracha are very limited until you ask for the bottle. Service was ok. Definitely not coming back here!

Stopped here en route to Phoenix for dinner. The place looked quite nice and the food was decent! Got the spring rolls and Phở Tai Bo Vien. Not the best phở I’ve had, but for Flagstaff, it’s pretty good. I liked that they put the phở in a ceramic bowl with a lid to keep the broth really hot as they bring it to the table.

My favorite phở in flagstaff! I go at least once a week. I can’t stay away. The owner is super nice and the place is spotless. Try it all. I’m a local.

Very good phở! It is about time. The place was very clean and our waiter was nice and friendly. I think because of the time of day 3pm he was also our cook, but he did a good job juggling the kitchen and the customers. I was a little disappointed when he told us they were no longer serving the phở with tripe and tendon because the locals didn’t like it. Shame on whoever these«locals» are. Live a little for goodness sake, people have been eating these parts for centuries. He substituted an absolutely delicious beef rib. In fact I will probably order my phở with just those ribs, scrumptous! My only complaint would be with the garnishes. We were given a few slices of jalapenos and 3 quarters of limes on a small plate hardly enough for both of us, and a very small portion of sriracha and hoisin in a separate saucer. The bean sprouts(a lot of them), half of a green onion, and a little cilantro were ALREADY in our bowl. WHAT!!! PRE-GARNISHEDPHO, SAYITAIN’T SO! I do know that is how they do it in some places so I am really not that upset. I get that there may be some waste, especially if the«locals» are already complaining about tendon and tripe, but c’mon. It is not phở unless I get to choose how much and when I add the condiments. Sprouts, THAIBASIL(which was suspiciously missing altogether), limes, various chiles, onion, cilantro and sawgrass should be ONTHESIDE. Sriracha, hoisin, and fish sauce(fish sauce also AWOL) should be in bottles on the table. Now that I got that rant out of my system, I need to say the broth really didn’t need anything, it was a perfectly spiced rich broth with a lot of depth. My only other problem was we asked for chopsticks but they never arrived, it was fine I can twirl a fork. Overall I will definitely return. My complaints are very minor and maybe they were just low on herbs that day or maybe the cook/waiter wasn’t used to plate setup. They had not been open very long when we were there and the meal was completely delicious.
