My dog loved this park. Lots of room to run around. They have a fun agility course that we enjoyed

We love taking our 8 month puppy here. There is always a good variety of dogs he can play with. Good shaded areas for humans and many pooper scoopers available. The only downside is often owners aren’t vigilant of their dogs. I’ve seen a lot of bullying which owners haven’t tried to stop. Other than the few irresponsible owners, it’s a great park.

Dogs can be off leash in a gated park. There’s a second part for less friendly dogs too. Plenty of shaded seats for the humans!

we’ve come here several times and so far all the dogs have been friendly — and so have the people. the park itself is pretty big, has a couple covered picnic type covered tables and even a small agility course(for the dogs)! the park was clean exept for one or two poops it that’s down to the people not cleaning up after rheir pets. it’s nice tobe in a wooded area becusa when it’s hot the shade is refreshing.

I recently moved to Flagstaff and decided to try this dog park out despite the negative reviews on Unilocal.Big mistake. Just stay away. Every time I take my dogs here, they are aggressively harassed and the owners of the offending dogs do little to nothing about it. Lots of improperly socialized dogs and owners who have no idea how to control them. Disappointing for such a dog-friendly town.

An interesting place, I came here in the morning, and it was great. All of the dogs were friendly. I came here later in the afternoon, and my dog got ganged up on by three small but damn mean dogs. No big deal. Their owners got them off my dog. Then a Rottweiler with a irresponsible owner went after my dogs throat. At that point I left and will not return, unless it’s in the morning, when the civilized people of the universe are awake. Why people bring their Agressive dogs here to prove their awesomeness is a mystery

I have been to dog parks all over the country and never have I seen the disrespect for your neighbor like I did in Flagstaff. I have been using this park for years and in the past year I have noticed the owners are getting less and less respectful off the fact that this park is for the public and not the few dominant dogs in the neighborhood. I have watched dogs get attacked on more than 3 occasions and watched as the owners come back after it happens as if they have the right to be there. I feel if your dog can not play in a respectful way it reflects that the owner is the same. I have asked several people to call their dog off my dog because their dogs where hurting my dog and I was told in an aggressive manner to go to the other fenced area where people who can not handle the main dog park go. I feel the aggressor dogs that can not be controlled by the owners must go to the side park as they have no right jumping all over me and my dog after I ask the owner to call their dog off me and my dog. I will not go back to the park until their is more rules that are fallowed by everyone who uses the park . I have never seen the kind of disrespect for your neighbor as I have seen for the people and their pets by other people and their pets at this park. Oh ya my dog got kennel cough from this park too. It is very prevalent because there I feel the park is too small

We tend to go here often with our little bulldog; she loves to play with all the big dogs and we have only had an incident once with another dog who didn’t seem to get along with anyone. Most owners will clean up after their dogs but watch out for bombs sometimes. Most owners are also very attentive to their animals but again, some seem to be there to get work done/sleep so they aren’t paying much attention. I wish there was more seating for owners with some shade. The agility equipment is fair.

Our dogs love this park. Plenty of well behaved dogs to romp with, room to roam, and places to explore There are enclosures for large and small dogs, but our 3 lb chihuahua plays with the big dogs in the large dog area and has never had a problem. In the winter months you need to bring your own water since the water fountains are off because of the possibility they might freeze and break. It can get muddy after the snow melts or a good rain, but the parks and rec people are pretty good about putting down wood chips at the entrance to keep it from being too messy.
