Frank’s Pizza

After a Battlefrog Race, we were looking for good and quick sit down restaurant before heading back to CT. Holy smoke… This wasn’t good… This was GREAT! We don’t meatball grinders like that in CT. My girlfriend got a hot Italian sub… I ended up begging her with money to get her leftovers! That good! We started this all with garlic bread and cheese… Tasted the fresh garlic all the way home!!! (In a good way) Love this place! I wish it was closer but my waistline thanks you that it is not!

I wasn’t really a huge fan and the food was OK but I guess I made the mistake of not getting just pizza. My girlfriend and I went here because she lives in the area the food she ordered had hair in it we really aren’t people to send food back but she sent it back and the next day she had, had hair in it also. I got some Stromboli it was kind of dry and it tasted like any other Stromboli nothing special

Wow. Good food. Great customer service. If u want gluten free — this is the place to be! We just tried the gluten free buffalo chicken pizza — omg. The grilled chicken is amazing — seasoned perfectly. The regular pizza is thin crust done right. Not to thin — not to thick. Perfect. My kids measure all pizza against this. If u haven’t tried it u must!

Accidentally ordered from here instead of the Frank’s Trattoria (thanks, Internet) that’s closer to my parents place. What a serendipitous mistake!
Sure, it may be a few miles out of the way if you’re on the north side of Rt 80, but damn this is good stuff. Got a plain pie and a chicken parm — both were some of the best I’ve had. Normally I order a couple of toppings on my pizza, but today I was just feeling a classic plain pie, and am so glad I did — it allowed the natural flavors to shine through so well.
Any time I’m near these guys, this is where I’m going. For sure.

I moved to the area 2 yrs ago and Franks Pizza was one of my first stops. I’ve been coming back ever since.
Not only is the food awesome– So are the employees. I practically go there everyday for their lunch specials because they’re great. My hats off to Joe, Antonio, Albert and everyone else! Sincerely, Don

Very disappointed in Frank’s tonight. We called in an order and when my husband got home with it, one of the salads was not what we ordered. When I called them to let them know, I was told to hold on four times and each time another person got on the phone. The last person happened to be the owner and he offered to bring me the right salad. He did not offer to refund the wrong one until I mentioned it and then he said he would give me the difference. When they got here they shorted me on the difference. In my opinion, I should have gotten the salad for free since my family was done eating by the time I got the new one. And if they weren’t smart enough to offer that, than they should have at least given me the CORRECT difference back. Nice way to run a business. Valentinos is closer, we will stick to them from now on.

Amazing pizza, good cheesesteak, and bad service.
We ordered the grandma pizza and a cheesesteak. Cheesesteak was gigantic but didn’t have much flavor to it. The pizza was really great. It was flavorful and fresh.
Removing one star for service. the guy taking our order who appeared to be a manager made us very uncomfortable. He kept making odd and unnecessary comments to us. Really? Will probably not come back if we’re going to be treated with disrespect.

Their grandma pizza is great. I have to say that this and Mario’s pizza in Morris Plains are some of the best pizza I’ve tasted in the New York/​New Jersey area. As an added bonus, their cheese steak was excellent as well.

What a nice find. I went to this place for lunch with one of my colleagues. I had a Salad (Red Peppers and Mozzarella and Chicken) with Homemade Italian Wedding Soup (A Little Salty, but good). They gave me fresh bread too. I had to let the owner know how happy I was. It was to die for and was less than $ 6.00.

Since moving to Flanders, this has become our new pizza place. We usually just get pizza or chicken wings delivered or to go (and it’s always good).
Last night, we actually sat down and had dinner. It was great! The fried calamari was perfectly breaded, perfectly cooked and their marinara sauce is delicious! My husband had a great looking Philly cheesesteak. I can’t comment on how good it tasted because he wouldn’t let me have any! :) I had a «small» calzone that was really good and enough to feed at least two people.
The wait staff is super nice and and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. We didn’t have room for dessert but we’ll definitely get it next time. They looked yummy!
Bonus? They have Cluck-​U sauces for their chicken!

Best Pizza in Mt. Olive! Hands down!
Went for the first time with the family on Labor Day. Eating area is really nice. They even have a party room in the back. We had a large pie (half plain /​half meatball) and it was so delicious. We also had an order of their meat lasagna and it was great as well. The dinner comes with soup or salad and we had both and they were nicely sized portions that we could share with the kids. We have 3 kids (9, 7 & 3). We also saw a recommendation on Unilocal for their Homemade Vodka Sauce and we were so glad we ordered it. It was so delicious and we dipped everything in it including the pizza and the Lasagna. Next time I go I’m going to ask for the lasagna to be done in the vodka sauce. So good!!! As far as price, I thought the price was right at $ 42 for the amount of food that we received. Comes out to less than $ 9/​person. Good luck finding quality food anywhere else at this price. I will definitely be paying Franks Pizza another visit soon!!!

Frank’s is the best pizza place in the area. The buffalo chicken pizza is insane! I’ve never had a bad pizza here and they are always friendly there.

Delicious! So far we have had the plain, pepperoni, and bruschetta pizzas. All were great, especially the bruschetta! The crust is so important and Frank’s is perfect; crunchy on the outside and doughy on the inside. We’ve only ordered takeout so I can’t speak to what its like to dine in. Definitely our go-​to local pizza place!

I grew up in Long Valley and now live 1,300 miles away in Louisiana, but every time I come home, Frank’s is on the list to visit (as many times as possible). The crap that passes for pizza in the south can’t hold a candle to the way it’s made here, with that mouthwatering, roof-​of-​the-​mouth-​burning alchemy of dough, sauce and cheese that would be my last meal, bar none, should I ever commit a capital offense. The staff is super friendly and the owner always remembers me, even though it might be a year between visits. I’m already looking forward to the slices I’ll be ordering six months from now!

Best pizza pie in mt olive area. I recommend the grandmas pie and the sicilian. Also a great place for a meal with friends or rhe family. Also, the baked ziti and eggplant is great!

Food is consistently good and the portions are huge. Easily enough for two meals if you get a dinner. Nice, casual atmosphere and very friendly service. It’s our go to pizza/​Italian food place.

First time last Friday. I would not call it your typical pizza. I had two specialty slices; mushroom and then eggplant. They were both huge slices. It was a thick pizza but not doughy. The mushroom was very good. The eggplant was also stuffed with cheese — little too heavy.

In this party of NJ, this is the Franks to go to. The entrées were really tasty and the pizza was good. The best item to get is their home made vodka sauce. It doesn’t matter what you put it on. Get it in a jar and grab a spoon. It is that good

I’m from the west coast originally so I’m learning all about different styles and types of pizzas. When we first moved to the area we wanted to find a good pizza place (not those chain places) where we could count on a good pie. My husband picked out two pies — a chicken ranch and a meat lovers. The meat lovers was a bit too much for me and I like meat. The chicken was a bit better. The pie was humongous and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust wasn’t too thick or too thin. We have this on our list of places to try again.
