I spent the day in parts of the Grand Concourse area of the Bronx and this was one of the parks I visited. The park was clean, green and beautiful with a lot of open space. They have a nice walking or running path. They had a nice cool seating area up on hill with great views of the park. Upon leaving the park, we saw a basket ball court and baseball field. We also saw a men/women’s bathroom which was very convenient. Since it was the beginning of the winter season there was hardly anyone in the park. It was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely take advantage of this park if I lived in area.

It is a nice park to go and relax, meditate, jog, walk the doggies, watch squirrels or just chill… During summer I only love this park during morning weekdays(on summer weekends it gets crowded, noisy and dirty). It has a small fenced dog run which is not Great, but its ok., has bathrooms in pretty descent conditions, two drinking water fountains and a staff that is always doing their best on keeping the park looking good

I was exploring the Grand Concourse area and stumbled upon this park during my neighborhood walk. I spent awhile there having snacks and people-watching and really enjoyed myself. There were lots of nice trees, and I liked the windy trail and how much the elevation varied within one neighborhood park. Lots of happy families with kids. It’s a nice little slice of New York I’m glad I found one sunny weekend day.
