Village Butcher

This is one of our «go-​to» places for lunch at work. They have a rotating menu of daily specials — they will either e-​mail it to you, or you can read the list on their Facebook Fan Page. The daily salad or sandwiches are usually $ 5 each and they have «Grab & Go» dinner type foods that you can either take from their refrigerator or they can heat up for you (those are typically $ 6.95).
Specials will typically be two different soups, a salad, a wrap sandwich and an assortment of hot & cold sandwiches, plus the Grab & Go stuff.
If you are a sliced roast beef fan, they make their own on-​site and it’s excellent (trimmed well, etc.) There’s usually one sandwich or wrap on the specials menus of the day that includes it.
They are happy to modify any of the daily specials for you (different dressing, no onions, etc.) You can also get any wrap sandwich as a salad and vice versa (*for no extra charge!*) For picky eaters, they will build a sandwich for you that’s not on the daily specials menu.
There is a cooler with soda, iced tea and milk selections and bags of chips and homemade desserts to choose from.
They do have lunchmeat or cheese sliced to order and macaroni salad, potato salad or coleslaw available in bulk. If you are planning a party, they do offer catering.
It does get busy at lunch time — order early if you can. I usually call in our order instead of waiting around.
There is *no* seating inside.
I usually park in the community parking lot located at the corner of Pearl Alley and Myrtle Alley (I hate parallel parking). Pearl Alley is a few doors down from the Village Butcher, just before «The Finishing Touch».

Awesome sandwiches and very affordable. Alot of the things on their daily special you cant find anywhere else. Ive had six or seven different sandwiches here and ive never been dissapointed. Add them on facebook to see their menu and prices. The only down side to this place is that its take out only there is no indoor dining. Also the desserts are great and the lunch meat/​cheese selection is nice aswell. Definately worth a try.
