I was looking for a brewery in the Maysville area and this popped up. I am glad it did. A new winery (Dec 2014 from what I heard) and although I had no wine (looking for a brewery) their beer selection was pretty good and the roast beef dinner was excellent.
The staff were enjoyable (the dish washer’s beard could have been longer) even though my colleague and I stayed up until closing.
I peeked out back toward the grape vines… This place would make a cool backdrop for a wedding or corporate event. I hope the people in Flemingsburg realize this gem of a place nestled in there neck of the woods.
Upon my next visit, because I know the food is good, I will forego the beer and plow straight into the vino. I think it would be nice to get a togo meal and sit out in the grapes. It’s beautiful out on that hillside.
