Berry Patch Early Learning Center

Great privately owned daycare center! I have two children enrolled and we have come to call the Berry Patch a second home. Caring owners with years of experience in education and a warm staff make the Berry Patch stand head and shoulders above the chain owned competition in the area. My kids also love the nature trails on the property!
I am so pleased with my experience here and if you have children you will be too.

Berry Patch has been my child’s second home for the past four years, and not for one second did we do not regret our decision to send him there. Every head teacher he had, Miss Betsy, Miss Pam and Miss Karyn were patient, caring and loved the kids they were entrusted to. My son started kindergarten this year and he is more than prepared to start the new phase of his life. I am very happy that my son and our family got to be a part of the Berry Patch family. I highly recommend The Berry Patch.

This is a new center located where an old (and I hear, unpopular) center once was. Completely new owners, management, staff — all are VERY sweet. From the owners to the substitute teachers, everyone is very good with the kids. The owners are very involved in the operations, and have done a major overhaul of the physical building (it’s a gorgeous place — lots of light, happy colors and murals, outdoor trails and a good playground — everything is very clean and new).
The classrooms are small and the teachers are all very good with the children; the center is small enough that the kids have interactions with all of the teachers. The director is very organized and excellent about keeping us updated with emails, and the teachers are very good about working with you on goals and development. They use the Creative Curriculum, and supplement with little extras (class pets, hatching chicks, etc).
Their schedules are flexible for now since they are new — you can get half days and shorter weeks if needed, though I’m not sure how long that will last as they fill up. Honestly, I hesitated when we looked since the center is new and they don’t have any track record to check, but they have been fantastic. Definitely worth checking out if you live nearby. Not cheap but not overpriced either, and definitely worth the price for the level of care.
