Food is great. They have table service as well as take out. China Moon is my first choice for Chinese fare in Flemington.

Well now we go to House of Yeung by shop rite on 202. So much better bigger portions. Lunch specials are portioned like regular menu. Container of soup not a paper coffee cup like China moon. Friendly too.

China Moon has always been a good consistent Chinese food restaurant. Most of the time we order take out but every now and then eat there. Service is friendly and I recommend the TSO chicken.

At the moment I’m writing this review, this place is better than almost all in the Flemington area. In the last 6 months, the quality has fallen off … noticeably. Egg drop soup has gone from light and delightful to thick, slimy and immediately throw out. Sesame chicken from crunchy and light to thick, soggy and bready — ick. Still. Better than most and my work team prefers it every Friday. I hope they will return to form — because this place has been/can be a gem!

It is interesting to see others experiencing the same here. China Moon used to be good food and reliable. My last several visits have had order issues between missing items ordered to completely wrong entrees. When I said something(after coming back for my missing rice) I was patronized by being told from now in they will double check my orders. I’ll believe it when I see it. May be time for a new Chinese restaurant. I will say the food is still good but not as much when you have to make multiple trips.

Well, need to knock off a few stars. Don’t know what happened but for the past few times the food was pretty bad. The lomain was dry and mushy. Hot and sour soup completely different(not in a good way). Beef with broccoli tasted off. It’s a shame. We really liked this place.

In short, JUSTOK. I have been searching for a *good* Chinese restaurant since Lo Fatt Chow closed in Lebanon(yes, it has been reopened under the name of «Lucky Fortune», and it is neither). Unfortunately, this restaurant simply does not live up to its ratings(really people?!). The food was merely OK and nothing more. It was not worth the drive from Clinton and I see no reason to eat here. Food should be enjoyable, and this was merely OK. I would look elsewhere…

There are a few Chinese food places in the Flemington area, but none are good(most are OK, some just terrible). China Moon is by far the best. The food is flavorful and pretty inexpensive compared to other local options. It’s oiler than Lo-Fatt(«healthy» Chinese) in Lebanon, but less oily than the rest of the more local options. Generally, I think most of the Chinese places around Flemington have an unusual subtle sweetness to their dishes, which I’m not a fan of. China Moon’s flavors are on point though. The place itself is relatively clean, and the location is convenient. Parking is pretty good(especially after hours) because it’s in a strip mall.

I stopped in with a co-worker for lunch and neither of us had been here before since we are not from the area. It was a great decision. The wonton soup was tasty and the egg rolls were tasty and more impressively, not greasy. I had the shrimp chow fun and my co– worker had the house special Mei fun. Both portions were huge. My shrimp chow fun had lots of shrimp and was perfect. My co-worker said her Mei fun was fantastic. Everything was fresh. We sat inside the restaurant which has about 10 tables. The service was good and friendly. To bad this place isn’t closer to me because I would be back again. For all the local residents in Flemington, you won’t find much better than this.
