Given how awful the LongHorn Steakhouse is in my area(Easton, PA) I was very pleasantly surprised at my very positive experience at this LongHorn location. While the food was average and what you expect from a chain, the service was great, and management actually did a table touch, which sadly seems to be a dying thing nowadays. They do have a gluten free menu, which is a must for us, I would recommend this specific LongHorn location, and would dine here again.

Ended up back in Flemington again(they have every store imaginable). Stopped in to Longhorn Steakhouse. Obviously, a Monday night, not too crowded. We were seated right away… and they brought out delicious bread, warm with butter. We started with calamari in a chili sauce. Delicious and the perfect amount of «kick» to it. The menu had quite a selection. We ended up both getting steak… me the prime rib and my husband, the rib eye. They were very good and cooked as we asked, medium rare. We had some choices of sides… we kept it simple with mashed potatoes. On to dessert… the molten lava cake was great. Almost two big for one person, but not really. Dessert is my favorite part. The service was exceptional. Overall, we were happy and satisfied with our experience.

I wasn’t sure how the food would be since I’ve never eaten here before, but the food was excellent! Also, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose what we wanted to eat.

The staff was very fast and friendly. The food is average. A little pricey. Some products seem salty while others do not so it’s more of a hit or miss thing depending on what you get.

A favorite place for me. Service and food are great. Manager overheard my daughter say her ribs were a little burnt and he gave her new ones without us even asking for them. Really great service.

Sadly after many years of great Service and good food, we had a horrible experience at Longhorn. The staff played grab ass and acted completely unprofessional. The service was mediocre at best, and our food was below par.

What a change. The last time I was here the food was mediocre and the wait staff horrible. The young girls cared more about their looks then serving the patrons. The staff was very friendly this time(everyone I saw said hi or thanks). Our server was prompt, had the menu memorized and pointed out many things. The crab dip was very good and the dipping bread great. The outlaw steak had a very good flavor and my wife’s steak Med. rare and my medium were cooked perfectly. The new corn on the cob was delicious. The GM greeted each table and asked about the food. Overall, what a change since their GM took over.

Had the prime rib today and it was amazing. Wife had a chicken dish with sun dried tomatoes that was also outstanding. The Mac sand cheese side dish also rocks! 4 stars because the salad was nasty.

Came from out of town and for a chain this place is excellent. As a family of four, we had steaks, salads, soups and ribs. All done perfectly with great service! Worth the price.

This is my second time here. My first time here was years ago and what I remember of this place was just pricey and so so. Which is why I didn’t come back. Today’s experience was much different. The food was quite tasty and the service was attentive. The waitress was very friendly and checked in with us often. Only towards the end of our dinner which was around 7pm the place started to get busy and it was difficult to get a hold of our waitress. It’s understandable but it just ruined what I would’ve given 5 stars.

The waitress was o.k. the«tender fall off the bone» pork chops were overcooked and like rawhide. The manager did take them off the bill and offered free dessert(though we were too full, having had appetizers). Good bread but really chintzy on the butter. The cheese stuffed filet mignon was good, and the calamari was just rings, no tentacles, which was good. I noticed the girl spraying the tables to clean them was spraying everything including the sugar, salt and pepper. All in all a typical chain restaurant experience, nothing special. I didn’t cheap out on the tip, no one should.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! The food was great and our service was excellent. Our server was so patient and accommodating with my 2 and ½ year old son who was less than enthusiastic to be stuck in a highchair. The décor is great and certainly fun for the little ones. We will definitely return.

I dined at longhorn last nite, and I had the Salmon and sweet potato which was done perfectly. My friends had a steak, and rock shrimp both done very well and the service was excellent. J. Brams

Gotta bump this place down a star. The only reason I’m dropping this LongHorn down a star is due to the service. My wife and I pop in here when we visit Flemington and we’ll sit down to have an app and a drink. The service is almost non-existent. There are times when you actually have no idea where the bartender is. Perhaps she walked out. Who knows? Prices are decent and the food is actually pretty good. We’re big fans of the homemade potato chips with the different dipping sauces. I’m also a pretty big fan of the beer selection as they usually have some pretty nice crafts to choose from. This place has also started to become pretty packed — way more people than our first few visits. It’s just OK now.

Once again, a trip to our local Longhorn ends in disappointment. My son used the call-ahead seating option, which I don’t understand why it is not a reservation. Semantics, I guess! We arrived 10 minutes early, 5 adults and 1 infant. Right on time, our buzzer goes off and are told our table was ready… a tall table in the bar! Hello, did you not see us with a baby??? Obviously that table wouldn’t work for us, so to the bottom of the list went our name. Another 30 – 45 minute wait. So, out the door went our family. Ended up at the diner down the road and enjoyed food and family for much less $$ than it would have cost at Longhorn. Bottom line: acommodate the customers!

Traveled to Flemington, NJ for a baseball tournament and decided to try and do a 12 family team dinner at the restaurant. It was a bit longer of a wait then we would have wanted to wait so we all decided to take individual tables as the became available. The food was very good for a higher quality chain steak restaurant. Everyone commented that their food was very good. I ordered a NY strip steak and it was pretty darn good! The sides were all terrific as well. I would go back again for sure the very next time I venture to Diamond Nation in NJ.

Much improved since we last came. Medium rare ribeye and prime rib were both very good. Update April 2016 — still a great choice for steaks but they tend to overcook — no bottled beer list — you are dependent on the servers memory — I prefer a printed list that I can choose from. Medium rare strip was only just medium rare but was tasty — medium rare prime rib was medium-well and was sent back — for some reason they said they couldn’t cook it any less and it was the lighting which was rubbish. We’ve been ordering prime rib for decades in different places so we know what to expect. A replacement medium-rare ribeye came out looking perfect — so much for the lighting excuse. Got to give the manager credit though — he replaced the prime rib with an excellent ribeye and to our surprise comp’ed the prime rib and ribeye.

Longhorn, I really wanted to like you. For goodness sake, you sell steak. How can I NOT like you? Well, you managed to rub me the wrong way by your poor food quality and dirty carpet. When my friends and I were seated, I immediately noticed small pieces of paper from the last group’s straws. Okay, maybe just a small miss from whoever was supposed to clean. My friends and I ordered the following: — Texas Tonion — Steaks w/salad and mac n’ cheese — Caramel Apple Goldrush Texas Tonion was fine and made me optimistic about the rest of the meal. Next, the steaks w/side dishes came. My friend had a hair in his mac n’ cheese. Great because we all ordered the mac n’ cheese with our steaks, too. As we all combed through our mac n’ cheese, we informed the waitress who quickly got my friend a new dish of mac n’ cheese. However, we lost our appetites after that. I also asked for my steak to be done medium, and I saw no pink in the middle. I had made mention of this to the waitress, who offered to recook it but I was already so hungry and managed to eat close to half of it already. The Caramel Apple Goldrush had a salty aftertaste. Not the sweet ending I expected to the meal. So sad, really. The waitress tried to be very accommodating, but the food was still bad. I never have had a bad dining experience at a steakhouse. I guess there’s a first for everything.

I really find myself wishing more and more for a half-star option. If it were available I would have given this restaurant 3 and ½ stars. This past Saturday night a friend and I went out to dined here, for my first time. When I first arrived the line of people waiting in the lobby and outside had me a little nervous. However, we were given a buzzer and it took no more than five or ten minutes of waiting to get a table. I was quite pleased to see that we were given a booth in the far corner of the restaurant, adjacent to the bathrooms. This was a double score, in my opinion, because I always tend to guzzle down at least five unsweetened iced teas during a meal and rather enjoyed the privacy and proximity to the restroom. The reason that I gave the review 4 stars instead of 3 was definitely the service. Our waitress was extremely patient and accommodating. She must have come to our table at least four separate times to take our order and each time we had been so caught up in conversation that we hadn’t even opened the menu yet. She was always pleasant and never made me feel rushed or guilty. When we finally did order I requested the six ounce renegade sirloin with a side of asparagus and Caesar salad. The salad was extremely small and there was not much asparagus. The steak was halfway decent, nothing to brag about. For the price of the meal I would have expected a better portion. For dessert we ordered this chocolate avalanche dish that consisted of two pieces of a chocolate cake concoction with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. It was delicious and a very large dessert but definitely overpriced at $ 11.99. When the food was finished we had continued our conversation for quite some time when we became aware of the rest of the restaurant and realized there was not a single person left. All of the tables were clear and half had the chairs up already. They were obviously on the verge of closing and nobody had once rushed us out or even notified us that they would need to close soon. While I chalk this up to good hospitality, part of me secretly suspects that they were too entertained by our rather scandalous conversation, that we were probably not having quietly enough. Overall, I would give the service a 5-star rating and the food 3-star rating.
