Went in to get some hair lightener and developer. This Ulta Beauty Supply store does not sell either of those items all they have is regular boxed hair dye. Everything is also a dollar or two more than anywhere else. With a Shoprite, Bed Bath and Beyond and Walmart right around corner this place seems like a waste of space. If I wanted to pay too much for beauty products I would go to Sephora.

The service at this Ulta is terrible. I could walk around in here for an hour and not be acknowledge once, and that’s not an exaggeration. When you seek out assistance, the staff is rude and will disappear without answering your question. I’m a loyal Ulta shopper and this is by far the worst Ulta I’ve ever been to.

I was so excited when this store opened, as there was one where I used to live and it was wonderful. But… the Flemington store leaves much to be desired. First, they keep minimal stock. Everytime I go there, they are consistanly out of everyting. Second, the staff are rude and do not remotely care about meeting the needs of their customers. I will drive te distance to Sephora in Bridgewater or order on-line before shopping at this store again.

I saw the rouge perfume at Bonton. Decided to go to Ulta for it but no tester. Sales person refused to help me so I went back Bonton. Often rude in the past, wont be shopping here anymore.

the worst ulta in all of the land. nothing is ever stocked/organized and the employees are beyond rude. i’ve been talked down to numerous times and made to feel as if i’m stupid — although they never have any idea as to what brands they carry/where to find anything. i was in the store today for thirty minutes before someone even acknowledged that i was there — and it was dead. this place will end up going out of business soon if management doesn’t get their shit together.

I came in here because I royally screwed up my own hair by trying to bleach my own roots with a box dye I found underneath the cabinet. it was like neon orange so I decided to dye the rest of my head purple with the rest of the box dye. I didn’t have enough color deposits as the dye was more liquid than it was creamy. so I basically looked half neon purple/magenta and half strawberry blonde. I basically looked crazy and I felt people thought I looked crazy. what I love about this salon is I can book online, pick out the days that the stylist is available and that also works for me. schedule what I would like to get done so they have a general idea. I chose Amanda because she was the only stylist working here that I could find on social media of the work she had done. I felt I trusted her and liked her work so I booked my appointed with her! what I love about my haircut was that Amanda listened to what I want. I’ve seen people say I only want to cut off«2 inches» and they come out almost bald. lol jk not really though sometimes I’ll go with my mom to her salon in edison and I’ll see girls say repeatedly«only this much» and say it ten times. I just had to let amanda know I didn’t want to cut a lot of my hair off and it only took me saying it once and she cut off the ends and now my hair feels really straight and nice after shampoo and conditioner whereas before it would be matted. the customer service here was great for me. everyone was super friendly and I love their selection of magazines. they have a great magazine selection. overall my experience was very pleasant and I’m thinking of going back soon to get my hair cut

I wish I could give this place no stars as even 1 is too much. This place has the worst customer service. I had made an appointment for Monday and by mistake made an additional appointment for Tuesday. I figured I would cancel Tuesday’s when I went for my original appointment. Showed up Monday said my name and the time of my appointment. I explained the duplicate appointment issue by showing her my confirmation email and asked her to remove the one for the next day. The lady tells me to sit and wait for my technician. After 20 minutes another employee asked me what was I waiting for and when I told her she checked the system and told me I wasn’t on the schedule and that they called me on Sunday to tell me they’ll move me to Tuesday but didn’t left a message. Turns out they had called my work phone instead of my mobile as detailed on my profile. Also turns out that the lady who talked to me first thought my name was Mary even when she never asked my name but had read the email that said«Hi Gladys».

As an Ulta frequent flyer, I have to say having the new one open in Flemington is amazing. And dangerous because it’s much easier to give them my money! That being said, the staff at the Flemington store is always pleasant and super helpful. Always solicitous, but not in your face aggressive. Make great suggestions and will show you how to use new products. This is the best Ulta I’ve shopped in!
