Christie’s Lighting Gallery

We were in need of lighting for our kitchen and great room and found Christie’s via a Google search. We were greeted immediately upon arrival by Melissa Cooper, an ALA Lighting Specialist. After sharing what we were looking for, we realized that we needed an onsite consultation and setup a date with Melissa to come to our home (just before Thanksgiving, 2015). She gave us a homework assignment which was to login to their site and save the lighting fixtures in our case, sconces and island fixtures we liked so we could make the best use of her visit. We did so and the homework and the visit were well worth the time and modest cost. Melissa was able to help us hone in on the exact fixtures, the numbers required and placement. She also suggested replacements for our inefficient under cabinet lights and found a way to tie in our pendant lights with the pot rack fixture that would provide lighting over our island.
The orders were placed and when we picked them up, there was someone there that happily helped load them into the car! Everyone we have dealt with has been professional, courteous and helpful. The electrician installed the lights, including a dimmer switch for the sconces and we couldn’t be more pleased! We shall return when future lighting needs arise.

What a lovely establishment. We do a lot of remodeling and Christie’s Lighting is the best resource with knowledgable staff. Bringing clients in for the staff to assist them is a win-​win for all.

I had the pleasure of dealing with the owner of the establishment. What a rude and terrible way to run business. As a designer I would never recommend to shop here. There are several other resources in the area that are up to date with their lighting selections. Not only was the owner rude but she made a point of stating that she does not normally do sales. On top of that she was not very knowledgable about her product.
