Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Buncombe & Henderson Counties

Beware! They charged me $ 302.00 to fix a slow hot water flow. The guy was helpful and professional. When it clogged again 4 days later (after they cashed my check, of course), I called and they basically said they couldn’t do anything. «Sorry.» Then they called back and offered to come out free of charge and see what they could do. The guy came out and basically tried to sell us a water heater installed for $ 1400.00. Didn’t try to clear the clog or anything. I was reminded of a few years ago when they came out to unclog a drain. After a few minutes of using the snake, they guy said that it obviously wasn’t working, but that he could do the ‘upsell’ version for a few hundred dollars more and it would work. Fortunately, the clog came loose a minute later and all was well, especially since the tech had said that there was no way the cheaper method would ever work. The staff were all nice, but I think the main focus is to upsell and get lots more bucks. I don’t think I’ll ever let them root me again!
