A Bit of Earth

A Bit of Earth is really best described as just a little bit of everything– from children’s learning toys and games to notebooks, stationery, hand soaps, and snacks to books for all ages, running the gamut from children’s and junior fiction titles to adult contemporary literature and coffee table selections. Book prices are really cheap– usually $ 1 for hardcover fiction and non-​fiction and less for paperbacks.
To call it merely a gift shop probably isn’t an adequate description. It’s a unique shopping experience. There’s usually something new or unusual every time I stop in, so dropping by frequently is a necessity. You never know what new little wonder or gem might be on the shelf that you can’t pass up! I just picked up a cute little DIY notebook here for just a few bucks.
It’s a cute little spot tucked into a corner of the Flint Farmer’s Market, so don’t forget it’s there! Good for all ages.

A Bit of Earth has a little bit of everything and it’s all wonderful! If you need a unique gift, stop here before hitting a big box store, you will end up with something way more unique and interesting. Plus, the store is constantly rearranged, so even though it is a small space, it always feels new and different.
