Thee worst service in all of the best buys. Took us literally ½ hour to check out for an Apple Watch because the use only one register for Apple products. They finally took us to a different register after we complained. The manger was dismissive too. All in all just a rotten store.

I am not sure if it is because it is the holidays and all of the unemployed workers flood retail during this season or if it is because the store mismanages its training, but I really had a bad experience yesterday. I was only trying to change out a computer that I purchased a week prior and I got the straight arm. The guy behind the customer service counter said I could not return it. I originally purchased this computer for work and sent it to my IT guy to configure. Once my IT guy started to configure the computer he found that this actual version was a lemon. Because this was a known for a few of them having issues, this made sense. Since his name was on the order as the person being delivered to I asked him to go and exchange it. I called Best Buy first to make sure this was okay. They said yes, of course it is okay if he exchanges it and you will have no problem. After he tried exchanging it at three locations and getting turned down at three locations he mailed it back to me. This leads me to my original story. Getting turned down myself. Once I got turned down, I asked for the manager as my company does close to $ 100K of business with Best Buy each year. I am an elite plus member too. I wanted and easy exchange. He also said no. I was very taken back. I almost just left it there and walked out the door, but restrained myself. I demanded it they exchange it. They said they could connect me with a Geek Squad person in 15 – 20 mins and I reluctantly said okay. All this time the Manager covering customer service and the original customer service agent were very rude. I was taken back. Once the Geek Squad person greeted me, it was like I was taking to someone for the first time and she exchanged it no problem. I was very surprised by this as all the original person needed to do was the same thing and they could of easily created a good experience. Crazy… Then I decided to write this review and noticed they only have 1.5 stars. In Unilocal terms this is absolutely horrible. I get it now. Just a bad store in general.

Best buy is just another company that has fallen apart due to lack of competition. The flint mi location is one of the worst locations. Customer service here doesn’t exist unless your buying a high end product, and even then it stops as soon as you’ve decided what your getting. The inventory is always at a minimum and we can order it for you is what you should expect to hear. If you have an issue that requires a manager just turn around and leave. Management at this location consists of some of the rudest individuals alive. Just do yourself a favor and avoid the flint best buy

Best buy on Miller Rd is very unethical to their customers. They allow their employees to tamper with customers accounts, turn off their insurance, and fraternize with married customers! I highly believe they need a whole new management team, who have morals.

Slowest service ever!!! I only went to return something that I purchased a week ago and I waited in line for about 15 minutes while other employees were just standing around chatting with each other, but lookin at me! WTF!!! Oh yeah, did I mention that I was their when the doors open. It was maybe 5 people in the store total, so I don’t get it. Disorganized and the Geek Squad are really geeks.

I’m not shy when it comes to expressing how much I dislike shopping at Best Buy. However, I recently came across a promotion online and it was too good of a deal to pass up, and seeing as I needed a new external hard drive I figured why not. When I arrived at the store, I was told that the promotion had been canceled. I was pretty upset, as I had driven all the way into Flint just to visit Best Buy and take advantage of the advertised deal. I called to speak with the manager when I got home, and he was very apologetic. He told me that corporate had decided to cancel it, but he would try to offer some compensation for my troubles. The next day I went back and did get a considerable discount, so to Mike the manager: 5 stars! The other staff members were very nice and helpful as well. Still not impressed with Best Buy, but I do appreciate the lengths that this manager went to.

4 out of 5 occasions I went here, and regretted having done so. This store is completely disorganized and ill-managed. I’ve always had problems trying to find staff in this place, and once you do it is unlikely they are able to assist you. On my last visit, after waiting for 20 minutes for someone to help with purchasing a laptop(incidentally, the most expensive item in the store), the customer service desk seemed like a reasonable choice. Upon getting to the customer service desk and explaining that a staff person was needed just to get this computer out for purchase, they tried to make a couple of phone calls and then just said«There is nobody available right now». Absolutely incredible… Will not EVER return to this JOKE of a store.
