Stopped in for lunch and waitress was friendly. Ordered sampler platter breakfast. Came with 2 eggs, grits, gravy, hash brown casserole, chicken fried chicken steak, biscuit. Coffee good and hot, and I was looking forward to the hash brown casserole(a signature dish). My sunny side eggs were severely undercooked and waitress took them away from my plate and brought me better ones quickly. The hash brown casserole was cold, old and flavorless, as too was the grits. Undercooked and tasted like eating white chunky water with gooey globs… Pass please! The chicken friend chicken was super fresh, hot and not greasy. Biscuits were old and dry like 3 days old… Didn’t eat. Husband had a chicken finger salad and he said it was just so-so… Nothing spectacular. Bathrooms clean… But heard a manager explain to a patron that what he ordered(country grill packet in foil) comes in the foil at his table and that this time only would the cook put all items on plate as requested by the patron without the foil. ManAger proceeded to say,” either you choose it this way or you’ll have to order something else”. I saw the patrons jaw fall in his lap and I was shocked too… What ever happened to real customer service with a side of friendliness?

Isa, Margie Kuenzli and I had dinner that this Cracker Barrel. The food was perfect, as usual, but I must thank the management team, the service staff(especially Islam) and even the Country Store workers for making an amazing experience, despite Isa’s worst didey blow out.. Now I truly know what it means when they say it takes a Village. Thank all of you, so, so much! Still miles to go before I sleep, but they will be much more pleasant thanks to this team’s family treatment. #Family #“GourmetHomezcooking

A place my family has always enjoyed going to was such a disappointment and trust me we most likely will not return. My husband and I decided we would go there for lunch. For starters we had to stand at the hostess booth and wait for the hostess to come up and greet us for what seemed like a total of five minutes. Which on its own is really not a big deal to us we are patient people. She had what seemed to be a hostess in training seat us. This was the first thing that actually bothered us is that in the first half of the almost empty restaurant she sat us basically on top of the two other families there. We seriously felt like we were all sitting together like one big happy family and you could tell the couple with their child next to us even got a little uncomfortable with strangers being seated so close to them. My husband and I felt as though we couldn’t even exchange a private conversation as they would hear every word of it. Our waitress was very nice at first until it came to ordering where she basically acted annoyed that we were asking questions about the menu. Once again we are patient people this on its own was not a big deal to us. We got our drinks and our food no problem fairly quickly. Although we both quickly realized how old and low quality the food tasted. He ordered the catfish and I ordered a cheddar bacon burger if I remember correctly. Even the fries that came with the burger were dried up and pretty well inedible unless you drowned it with ketchup. Then the waitress disappeared. She was no where to be found for a good 20 minutes no check up to see how our food was no check up on refills. My husbands drink was empty for probably 15 minutes of that 20 minutes she was gone for. This is very frustrating as we can’t just get up and get things ourselves or else trust me we would’ve taken that initiative. The waitress finally showed up turns out she was simply hanging out in the back which I’m assuming is the kitchen area. We both decided it was time to go after choking down half of our meals and waiting for our waitress to reappear so we could get our check. She asked if we wanted a box we quietly just told her no. I am not one to raise a fit in any place of business as I find that to be completely unnecessary but I strongly considered asking to speak to a manager in such a terrible experience.

What an awful experience. The place smelled like a hospital and the food tasted like it. The tables are so close together it is hard to get in your chair without hitting the person behind you. The food if you can call it that. I had the ruben which had maybe 2 slivers of meat on it and a shred of sauerkraut. The sandwich was tiny. It came with a side of dumplings which were awful. There was zero flavor in the dumplings it was like eating wet flour. If you do not like flavor, spice or good food come here.

I love Cracker Barrels. I’ve been to many all over Michigan. This one was the worst I’ve ever visited. We went in at 3:00 and there were a handful of people inside the restaurant. We waited 10 minutes for our waiter and another 30 minutes for our order. I ordered a salad and my husband a Chicken BLT. The waiter informed us that my salad was taking longer than expected to make! So guess what: my hubby’s sandwich and fries were soggy and ice cold. We mentioned it to the waiter but were not going to wait another 30 minutes for our food. Got the heck out of there over hour later. The one star is for the good coffee.

This a chain of course, a family style restaurant. I had the fish and chips, good portion size with a choice of sides. The service friendly and attentive. I don’t think, I’ve ever had an issue with my order at any of the restaurant I’ve visited. They should change the dessert menu

Not a bad crackle barrel as crackle barrels go. Service is friendly. Went here for a birthday breakfast for my mom. Reliable chain. I can’t remember going here for dinner but my parents recommend it. They have the gift store. Candies and stuff. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you this place is nice.

Unparalleled service and work culture. Every single person I’ve met at CBs across multiple states is exceptionally courteous and well trained. This is the stuff that other corporations should take notes from. The food is amazing and they deliver the country style ambience. On the minus side the food can be a bit on the unhealthy side but they’ve recently integrated salads and low cal meals.

I really enjoy coming to Cracker Barrel only for the shopping… but my husband loves the pancakes, so it’s the best of both worlds. This Cracker Barrel is nice, the country store is awesomely stocked with great items and a killer clearance section. The place is clean, and the bathrooms are«okay», but smell horrible every time we visit!

My wife and I visited this location a couple days ago. I hadn’t been in a cracker barrel in about 20 years but it’s mostly the same as I remember. It was a Sunday so it was busy for obvious reasons. Since it was just the two of us we were seated right away. The wait for our food was a little bit longer than I care for but it was hot, it tasted fantastic, and most importantly they got my order correct, and it was very reasonably priced. In fact it cost less for us to eat there than it does at wendys. On the negative side of things is the line. There is no telling where the back is because people are wo during around the store part. They really need to get it together and figure something out. When I’m done eating I want to pay and go, not wade through a line of people looking through merchandise in cramped quarters. I’m reading a lot of bad reviews of this location so I’m guessing we went on a good day.

Cracker Barrel is by far the restaurant that you get the most bang for your buck but I have yet to figure out why this location doesn’t measure up to other Cracker Barrel locations. Look I get it, Cracker Barrel is about«get them in and get them out» as why I am sure that is why you get seats with no cushions, wi-fi, or anything else that may entice you to stay longer. That’s fine with me because their breakfast menu is great and the dinner is good for the price. But then I don’t venture too far off into the different offerings on the dinner menu. I repeat, you can’t go wrong with the breakfast but I can’t comment on the dinner too much because for me it’s usually grilled chicken tenders or fried catfish. The problem with this place is the service. On many occasions the sides are cold or sparse. Then when you mention it to your waitress she admits she noticed or someone else had the same complaint. The cash register area will typically have a long line with one person working and then she’ll actually have the audacity to answer the phone. The managers stand around with these earpieces in their ears like they are oblivious to the mass confusion. Wait…management, that is probably the issue. Dear Cracker Barrel, fix this location or close it!

Same old same old. Love the food but Cracker Barrel seriously needs to get with the times and get wifi. No reason at this point not to have it. 99% of my life is on the road and is stop more to eat here if they had wifi and I could send out what needs sending.
